I am making italian meatballs, and mashed potatoes with asparagus
Cinnamon buns for desert ( I have THE BEST recipe in the world)
and sub buns for meatball subs for tomorrow. MMMM I am hungry! So what is everyone else making, I need ideas for the rest of the week now LOL

hmmmm dinner I haven't even thought about it yet...lol so I will be waiting and will prolly steal one of ya'lls ideas

We're having meatloaf here today. I did my grocery shopping and have all my meals planned out for the week. Later this week, I'll make my Bacon/tomato/macaroni stuff.

boil a pound of elbow macaroni
cut bacon into pieces and fry while macaroni is boiling.
drain macaroni, add bacon and grease, add big can of tomato sauce and big can of crushed tomatos and heat. We then sprinkle parm. cheese and shredded cheddar cheese on it once it's served on our plates.

quick and easy. even better the next day!!

you mean you are supposed to plan dinner in advance? huh oh, I'm in trouble then. lmao
probably chicken something or other, since I pulled it out to defrost in the fridge yesterday.

hamburgers & chips :) for DH and DS

i'm having a steak. (YUM-O)

Plus I'll cut up a watermelon and heat up a veggie.

Hamburgers, Sweet Potato Fries and Corn Nuggets

I went shopping today too, so later this week we're having

Tacos
Pork chops/Salad/Mac & Cheese

Haven't planned much further than that.

We're having a Weight Watchers recipe I got off their message board.

Italian Casserole
Servings | 6

1 pound extra lean ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup bottled reduced-fat pasta sauce
1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
1 1/2 cup shredded fat-free mozzarella cheese
8 oz Pillsbury Reduced-Fat Crescent(s)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 Tbsp Land O Lakes Stick Light Butter

Heat oven to 375°F. In large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat
for 8- 10 minutes or until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain. Stir in pasta sauce; cook until thoroughly heated.

Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine mozzarella cheese and sour cream; mix well.
Pour hot beef mixture into ungreased 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish. Spoon
cheese mixture over beef mixture.

Unroll dough over cheese mixture. In small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese and butter.
Spread evenly over dough.

Bake at 375°F. for 18 to 25 minutes or until deep golden brown

This sounds really good! I'm definitely swiping this!

LOL Im pretty sure we are having leftovers. We had a family party last night and there was all kinds of goodies that came home in various doggy bags.:p

ack. I have no idea. And we don't have much in the way of food here . . . I am long overdue for a trip to the grocery store.

i'm making the peanut butter bars now (they're in the fridge right now), does that count for anything?

I'm having spaghetti, Tony is having hamburgers and the kids are having ground beef (they don't like sauce) and pasta with a vegetable of some sort, probably broccoli.

I have no idea. Jeff is at work until 6:30. The kids have eaten basically all day, so they probably aren't hungry.....

Vanessa, that sounds soooo yummy!!! Maybe Ill have to make it for the kids and I sometime, doug would never eat it. he is so picky! LOL

We are going to make some baked chicken with garlic panko(?) crust, brown rice and veggies!

I need to work on plannig out the week. It goes smoother if I have a menu planned!

I need to start making menus too. We spend way too much on groceries and really need to cut back.

we just had chilli dogs---so i'm not sure what is on the menu for late tonight! too many picky people in one house! (I love brees' menu templates LOL--keeps me organized on what we're having!)---time to make out another one for this week since monday is shopping day! :)

This thread is useless without posted recipes.

For the buns AND the meatballs.

A stouffer's meal :p -- I'm all about easy these days.

Tacos sounds good...I have no idea. We have NO groceries in the house and I was hiding out in case I was supposed to be at work (my plan was if they called, I wouldn't answer, and when I went in next week I would say I was still away, lmao). But I wasn't scheduled, so I wasted the day hiding in the house...though it's snowing and icky outside, I don't really want to go out, either!

The kids are having mac n' cheese w/ hot dogs and peas mixed in and we're having Applebee's carry-out after they're in bed.

Jeff said he was making Italian-herbed chicken with penne for us after he finishes his 'book report.'

*lol* I love to rub it in that even MBAs have book reports! He's been reading a book all day today for his Org Behavior class and reading excerpts out loud (which I find SO annoying!! *lol*) and now he's writing his paper on the book.

I, on the other hand, am playing here at SSD and watching TLC. I volunteered to make dinner, but this is one of his 'specialties' and we're at his house, so he said he would.

I didn't insist. ;)

do you make the meatballs from scratch?

I took the lazy way out and got a pre-cooked pizza from Costco.

perdue chicken tenders and home made macaroni and cheese (which mom made last night and left in the fridge).
however, i have nothing to cook the chicken on. so we have to head over to the new house and cook and eat there. lol. that's what happens on the day before the movers come. and all that's left in the house is furniture and the tv.

After DH gets off Softball Practice, he's going to pick up some take out. Probably from a Chinese place and he'll probably get me something (some sort of soup w/thick and thin rice noodles and some meat) that I actually only know how to say in Chinese!
