Struggling with what to buy extended family for Christmas?

I think that's a great idea! We have stopped exchanging gifts between adults and only give to each other's kids now. But the truth is, our kids already have far more than they need anyway, so I'd love to cut that back, too. And from someone whose child has hugely benefitted from a children's hospital, thank you for giving. :)

I love this idea! We do this with our extended family on rotating years as well, and it's been wonderful to see what people come up with.

We only used to buy gifts for the kids too, but it was always a struggle to figure out what to get them. They already had what they needed. This seemed a lot better use of our money/time.

Our mothers group always does a secret santa at christmas time, but we just decided yesterday that we would all donate to a charity instead. We decided on a SIDS charity that was set up in the name of a friends baby who passed away this year from SIDS. All babies should be here to celebrate their first christmas, so sad that there are many that arent.
I love that you donated to the childrens hospital. Both my kids have spent time in the childrens hospital here in Sydney this year, so I understand how important they are.
