The dreaded c word

Cancer

My three year old was diagnosed with cancer on Thursday. They found a mass in his pelvic area and one near his spine. They had to do emergency surgery on the spine on yesterday because it was compressing his spinal cord. He pulled through well and seems to be returning to his normal self. We have to wait at least 72 hours for the lab to run the necessary tests and find out what kind it is. Once they figure that out they will outline a treatment plan.

All prayers are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks.

Beebo, I think you may have clicked to the next picture. The one in the link shows her sweet little guy in the hospital bed.
 
There is nothing in the world worse than cancer- especially when it hurts such an innocent little guy. I will praying for him and your family.
 
Oh no :( I am sooooo sorry to hear that. He will most definitely be in my prayers. Is his name Shadrach? (I looked in your gallery to see if there was a name I could include in my prayers.)
 
Aww! Words cannot express how my heart hurts for you. Keep praying, and you will have strength. I wish you and your sweet little guy the best. ♥

Yes his name is Shadrach. Thank you all for the well wishes and support
 
Sending prayers for you guys! My daughter was diagonised with cancer when she was 4 & then it came back when she was 6. We are 11 months out from her finishing treatment for the second time! Its a rough road, but staying positive helps. If you need someone to talk to, please let me know.
 
Oh my, I cannot even imagine... It is my prayer that one day no family will have to endure something like this. Sending you and your family LOTS of good thoughts and healing wishes!
 
Such a scary thing. It makes my heart sink anytime I hear of a little one being diagnosed. We had a scare with my middle son at about 21 months but they never did figure out what was wrong ith him. Just swollen lymph nodes. I will say a prayer for healing for your son and for guidance for you and your family as you care for your son.
