NSR - Miracle Whip Or Mayonnaise?

Definitely Mayo.

And I don't know if it makes me feel grown-up, but my mom was a health-food nut when I was growing up so I loved it when I was out on my own and could splurge once in a while on something like Capn Crunch or a box of PopTarts that my mom would never have allowed!

Growing up my dads family used miracle whip so I loved going to grandma's for a tomato sandwhich on white bread with parmesean cheese and miracle whip. I thought it was the best sandwhich ever. In those days balonga was a big treat and gram would fry it up for warm sandwiches again with the miracle whip. :)

My grandma made me fried bologna sandwiches with miracle whip, too. Lol! I can't imagine making one for myself now, but it was sure a treat then. :)

I prefer Miracle Whip but sometimes get a taste for Mayo, too. Right now I have both in my refrigerator lol. My mom complains, however, if I make anything with real mayo. She says it's gross. I think it's funny she says this though since most fast food restaurants, etc. use Mayo and not Miracle whip and she doesn't think they are gross. Lol, to each his own! :)

I do not use either on sandwiches/hamburgers, etc. I use Miracle Whip in tuna fish with diced sweet pickles (and eat with crackers) ... I use Mayo in dips that call for mayo specifically. That is all.
