I sure hope this season is better than last season - one of the worst ever IMO.

They still have yet to officially announce the 3 returning players - all who were previously medi-vaced from their season. I think we figured it out a while ago, but now I can't remember their names.

One of the returning is Skupin - oh, here's the 3: Skupin, Penner and Swan. I didn't watch any of their seasons.

And oh gosh, Sucks has a guy who is spoiling the whole season. Ack! I need to stay away!

I was just thinking the other day how ready I am for all the TV shows to start again. Survivor is one of our favorites! Can't wait for it to start again.

I have to say I think it's so random that he's playing but it'll be interesting to see how he plays. Especially since he got caught lying while playing for the Giants so I'm not sure that will be one of his strengths.

Is there a theme for this season? Or are they just bringing back a couple of people who left early in other seasons?

I said I wasn't going to watch this season because I've hated the last two seasons. DH laughed and said "yeah right" I think it's interesting Lisa Whelchel is going to be on it, I was a HUGE Facts Of Life watcher as a kid. ( not so much a fan of her as an adult though, different strokes for different folks and all that, oh wait that was a different show )

Yep, that's it. Although, not sure it's really a "theme" but more like a gimmick, IMO.

The season after this one (26) has already been spoiled - it definitely has a theme.
