Skor candy substitute?

I want to make this recipe today for my daughter's sleepover.

Thing is, we don't have Skor candy in New Zealand. I don't even know what's in Skor. Is it like an M&M, a skittle, fizzy candy? What can I substitute for it?

Yeah - it's a toffee bar dipped in chocolate, so perhaps you have something like that there? Like a Heath Bar?

Toffee bars are not common here. Hmmm....maybe I could just do the chocolate bits instead?

do you have werther's originals? (hard candies in gold wrappers). Any kind of english toffee would work. I dont think the actual toffee is hard to make either.

Actually, we do have Werthers here. I forgot about them. They'll do. Will pick up a bag this afternoon and attack them with a hammer. I'd still have to add fine chocolate though wouldn't I?

Yep what Kristi said I <3 Werther's. They are so yummy!! (I love english toffee but most of the time it is combined with chocolate and I dont like chocolate that much)

American toffee is not quite the same as actual English toffee and Heath is actually an American candy bar.. Do you get English candies? I think maybe a "Crunchy" bar would be close but not exactly the same.. It has a honeycomb sugar center and is sort of "bubbly" so you can bite down on it. Werther's is like Heath and Skor but definitely a harder candy. Heath and Skor can be bit down on, but you can't really bite down on Werther's without chancing a visit to the dentist.
