**ZPD CT Call - A Bit of a Delay**

Oh - I should have checked here earlier! I've been checking my e-mail all day. I'll relax a little bit now - but not really! :)
 
Im in Australia too and completely understand your woe's.
Thats the exact reason I havent gotten wireless, regular is bad enough.
 
I just got my "no" email. I am really not surprised. The level of talent on this board is AMAZING! But... for those of you still waiting to hear, at least some of the emails have gone out! :) Congratulations to those of you amazing scrappers who DO make the cut! My shopping list that I put on hold until after the call is back on! Woohoo! Can't wait until July 7th and I can use my Sweet Rewards and get me some Sweet Zoe designs! :)
 
hey ladies...i got a no too. this is my first rejection in the 3.5 months i've been scrapping so i feel blessed, none the less! a huge-mun-gous congrats to you ladies who did make it!! for real...zoe's stuff rocks. cannot wait to see who all made it. :thumbup:

Awww man!! See, this is why I hate this part of the job :(

Sweetie, don't take it personally, k? You know, I had sooooo SOOOOO many applicants, and as I said before about 99% of them were in the Yes pile - and YOURS was one of them... I really take calls seriously, and that's why I avoid them at all costs!! I hate all the disappointment that it causes... It's just so hard to decide, and I mean it when I say that I wish I could take everyone on, but unfortunately I just can't :unsure:

And that goes for everyone who got the dreaded 'no' letter too! Please don't think that it's because you're not "good enough" or anything like that!! In fact, it's exactly the opposite! There were so many that I had to let go and they were this close to getting in... I'm sorry :( And, I meant it when I said that I'm going to be keeping those applications on hand for the next time I'm looking to add new members.

On a brighter note :p Invitations for the successful applicants have been sent! Yippee!! FINALLY!! So, check your inbox girls! I've checked and double checked that I've responded to everyone on the list, but if you applied and you haven't received a response, please don't hesitate to contact me :)

Man, my wrists are hurtin' today from all the typing/scrolling I've been doing - LOL!! On that note I'm going to pour myself a nice Rum & Coke and wash the day away ;)

Thanks again everyone who applied, and for your patience with me! I truly appreciate that you took the time to share your art with me... For those of you who didn't make it this time, please don't be too disappointed :unsure: I can't stress that enough...

ETA - I'll be posting the list of who made it on the team once I hear back from everyone!

Im not taking it personally, Im taking it as a sign that I need to beef up my gallery, make myself a little more well known before I apply for another CT call.

It must be a very tough decision, I dont envy you.
 
Brooke - I promise you one of these days you'll get so many CT's you won't know what to do with yourself!! It just takes time :) I've been there and done that, and I know exactly how you feel, but don't beat yourself up about it, k? Remember that scrapping is about having fun and making memories, and not about being on CT teams... That's just the cream on the top and it doesn't take away from your creativeness, and please don't let it take away from your enjoyment if you don't get on one for a while ;)

Brooke, I totally understand how you feel right now because I've been there, but don't give up! It took time for me to get my groove on, too! :p Before I knew it, I was invited to become a part of a CT and felt more confident in applying for others which now I'm part of 3 CT's. And also, "be careful what you ask for, cuz you just might get it all" as the saying goes. Sometimes I wonder, "How am I gonna handle doing all this?" It really takes some initiative and responsibility to remember what assignments are required and their deadlines for each CT. I was never someone who kept track of things, but now I do. But on a general note, just keep doing what you're doing and if you love it that much, your time WILL come sweetie! :):thumbup:

As for Zoe's call, I got a 'NO' letter too but it was so worth the try! At least, I know she got to know me a little and have my file in case there's another opportunity, ya never know! Congrats to all who made it, I'm excited to find out!

I got my no too--but I probably shouldn't have applied anyway since I just quit a couple teams to manage my time better--but I can't help it! I love Zoe's designs!

I'm excited to see who did make it and congrats to those ladies!

I got my no too and I was really bummed when I got my email but I'm ok. I applied for another one and didn't even get a sorry but no so thank you Zoe for being so sweet. I still love your designs!

It's sad for me as I was having a terrible week and today is the last day which is closed with the sad email :(
but I really count on Zoe about keeping my applications for next ct member ... I'll remember that and thanking Zoe for that :D

zoe and all the other designers...you are too sweet to apologize to us. honestly, who ever didn't make it needs to not EVER take it personally. it is what it is, its not an intention to make anyone feel down on themselves. geesh...i would not wish a ct call round these parts on anyone. lol

another congrats to all you lil stinkers who are reading this board and who made it! hehehe!! yipee, let the zoe-fun begin...

I wasn't expecting to get accepted, so I wasn't surprised, but I had to try anyway! :)

What a great way to look at it! :) I got my no e-mail too and this way of thinking does make me less bummed! :)

Congrats to all of Zoe's new CT members!
 
I got a no letter too, but that's okay. I'll keep trying. Eventually, one of the great designers around here will notice me and I'll get the yes letter. In the meantime, I'll keep doing the challenges and earning my rewards so I can play with all the fun kits here at SSD.

Congrats, to the lucky ladies, who got the yes letter. If any of you decide you're too busy to do all those CTs, I'll be here ready and willing to create. :) hint, hint, to all you wonderful designers out there.
