Maybe it would be better taking up snowshoeing?
This year has been especially insane for the winter weather. Hopefully none of our rain here in Ohio heads your way to become snow. We are expected to have flood levels we haven't seen in 15 years (read: some will be evacuated here tonight). Needless to say I wouldn't wish it on you up north...
My fear is a sudden warm up, you know it will be a mess then!
It's freezing rain out now. This winter has been sooooooo long. We usually only get snow from Jan - Mar, this year we had snow in Nov that stayed on the ground, so I'm way past ready for Spring now. :cursing:
Jamie, I hear ya! Our first storm was in November too and it hasn't stopped since. We have had 110" of snow in Concord, NH (about 30 minutes north of me) this year, a record since 1900! I am so ready for spring but also worried about where all this snow is going to go (in my basement!) when it melts.
That is totally wicked......I am happy to say I think all of our snow has finally melted (with the exception of a few ugly piles left in a few spots) and the warm weather will be here soon I hope anyway.
I hope everything goes well with the melting process for you and NO MORE SNOW for you as well.....
Oh, we were blessed with an inch or so of freezing rain on top of that, and then rain. Now it's not doing anything. I'm petrified it will all melt, and my poor basement.............eek
