Who else looks for the "like" button?

I guess I'm more attached to facebook and instagram than I thought....I find myself looking to like a post when I read in the forum! Does anyone else do that?
 
Me! And the other forum I'm most active in (unrelated to scrapping) has one, which makes it even worse.

All the time!!! Would love to see a like button here or a response to a post!!! I feel I am ignoring the nice comments made on my posts in the gallery
 
Yes! A like button in the forum AND one in the gallery too!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who automatically reaches for it!!
 
Hey! We've looked into this and our forum and gallery software is a version that can't be upgraded to the one with the like buttons on it.

Sooooo... unfortunately, unless we want to wipe everything and start fresh here in the forum and gallery, I'm afraid we can't get one :(
 
My only concern about having a "like" button is that on FB, it's almost too easy to just hit "like", but not comment.
I wouldn't want to have that happen. I enjoy commenting and reading comments.

Yep! The old, now defunct, paper scrapping forum I used to be active on had great gallery comments all the time. Pretty much every LO would get at least 5 "meaningful" comments. One day my cousin looked at my gallery and, rather than saying anything about my pages, she said how nice she thought people's comments were! LOL When the site closed, we made a FB group, and now most of the feedback on pages is "likes"...makes me wistful for the "good old days" of comments ;)
 
I always look for on too! As much as it would be cool to have, I wouldn't want the site to be wiped just to get one lol.

Nooooo, we can live without a 'like' button :wub: We can always use the quote option and add a like meme/photo :)

Yes, it's way too easy to just "like" something and move on.
 
Good points. Likes would definitely cut down on comments. And starting over is not an option so just know I like many more layouts than I comment on and agree with more posts than I respond to!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wishes there was a way to say "Thank you" to those nice comments.
Once I tried to reply, only to realize I was commenting on my own gallery lol!
