ok ya'll have lives or something? Where is ev1 this week? (myself included haha)

I haven't been feeling well...NI why all of a sudden at 18-20 weeks along I've started having BAD reflux and stuff..i can't eat and even smells make me sick. I've lost 7 lbs in a few weeks and my dr isn't happy. I've started on some meds though yesterday finally (zofran and nexium) so hopefully it'll start working

anyways enough about me..what's up with ev1??

:D I'm here! Just been chillin' .. kidlet has been a handful lately. Hope you start feeling better :( Those babies... always kickin mamas butt lol.

Yuck! I couldn't eat from like 14 weeks on with this last pregnancy, but mostly because I felt so dang full all the time, even though I felt hungry at the same time. It didn't keep me from gaining weight though. ;)

I just got back from what was supposed to be a wedding but the bride's family asked for another RM 500 from the groom's family, on TOP of the RM2000 they'd already asked for. This for a people who make RM 25/day. The husband's family pays a dowry (sp?), and this other guy proposed (to her father), so she and her boyfriend ran away and now the girl and her boyfriend (not the guy who proposed) *have* to get married. Great plan, except the boyfriend didn't even have money for the bus fare when they ran away, lol. So it's been a big mess and I'm exhausted because I never sleep good in the village (no electricity or running water or private bedroom) and neither do my kids. We love to be there, though we all come home exhausted.

So now I'm catching up on everything I missed during the 24 hours I was gone lol.

So I'm a dillweed... what is an RM? Where are you from? lol ... I was just entirely confused reading your post :D Sounds like a FUN mess :D

haha...me too.

{{HUGS}} Meghan. Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon.

My girls had a cold last week - which I guess works out since DD1 didn't have any school or ballet anyways. So all she missed was gymnastics, swimming...and my side's Thanksgiving dinner

We went to see Santa today w/my 2 girls and my nephew. they actually sat on his lap/throne this time.

Our place (outside) has been getting painted since last Wednesday (they even worked Thanksgiving Thursday, Friday and Saturday) so some days this week it's been a pain finding street parking. We could've park inside or in the driveway because of their tall ladders and when they were painting outside. Hopefully they'll be done soon.

ty :)

RM is also MYR the Malaysian Ringgit (their currency)
1 dollar= approx 3.36 MYR or RM (I think)

for once my job skills come into play haha

ohhh and Kellie..that's the thing I feel soooooooo full but right now I'm STARVING. So I'm nibbling on some ritz (at 2am-b/c i can't sleep either lets add that to my ailments) and I feel overstuffed yanno?

Sorry about that, girls. I used the ringgit so that you could see the stark contrast in what was requested and what they make. Thanks for clearning it up for me, Meghan!

Aw, so sorry you are feeling so crappy Meghan! I hated being pregnant.....not one of those glowing pregnant ladies...that's for sure! LOL

Meg I'm sorry you feel so bad. Hope it starts to get better with the meds.

Cindy - that was me...not so glowing and not so happy when I was preggo. That's why my son is an only child (well one of the reasons).

I'm home today, which makes me very happy.

Meg, try taking a round of Prilosec, I had horrible reflux with Landen and I took two rounds of this on the suggestion of my OB and it helped so much. I used to lay on the couch and SWEAR I was in labor it hurt so bad, it just radiated.

I have a few kits for release tomorrow that I have to work with so I am gonna be busy!

DUH-I see your OB gave you some meds...Nexium will hopefully do the trick. I *loved* being pregnant, and really hope I was one of those "glowing" preggo women! I know that from all the photo's I've seen you are one of the cutest little preggo girls I have ever seen...Dang you!

PS
WAKE UP ALREADY-I'M BORED!

Cindy, I was the SAME way. That's why I was only pregnant once. I hated the whole experience... I just wasn't good at it.

I'm here now. It's been a crazy week. Kendra has been sick since Monday. 103 fever that just won't break. She feels ok during the day, so she's ticked off that she has to stay home. But she can't go to school with a fever like that, and that makes her grumpy. *sigh*

Work was delightful this week. Let's just say I'm SO glad it's the weekend.

sorry you're sick Meghan...hopefully you can get some sleep and the meds will help you eat a little bit...

Wow Kellie - really interesting:)

All these stories make me nervous to have kids, lol.

I'm just busy busy busy. Work is busy, I've been trying to crank out my shutterfly calendar (and discovered last night that the master list of birthdays on both sides of the family.......gone, no idea where it went, I'm NOT a happy camper) so everything else has kinda been pushed to the side. I started a LO the other day so I'm hoping I can finish it today.

But my DF (is that the right abb for dear fiancee? Lol) bought our Christmas tree last night and the house smells glorious. I'm very excited to go home and start decorating it tonight. :)

I was one of those who never felt better during my pregnancies.

As for where I've been, I have walking pneumonia and have been feeling cruddy. The DR. gave me some cough medicine that has vicodin in it, and believe me - you don't care WHAT's going on around you when you have that on board. LOL

Ohhh NO Paula!
Feel better soon, they gave me Vicodin after my last CSection so I can relate...I felt like a ZOMBIE!

LOL, that's what I was thinking! You ladies aren't exactly selling it! LOL

I've been busy trying to convince my computer that it does in fact want to open Photoshop and InDesign without a bunch of errors. It's having some major issues right now and I spent the better part of Wednesday just trying to figure out what in the world is wrong with it.

I think I'm an oddball, lol - I loved pretty much every minute of being pregnant - except the last few hours when I was in labor, haha!

Kellie - it's always interesting to see how things work in other countries. I'm always amazed at the rituals and customs for weddings that we don't have here.

oh i'm right there with you Bree and Paula - I LOVED being pregnant...not many problems aside from some minor nausea (kinda like a hangover) :).

I'm here, have a chest infection and sinus infection. It's the last week we're taking holiday orders, so we're being slammed big time!

I'll be scrapping like crazy starting next week! Yay!

Well, maybe this will help sell it for you (although I LOVED being preggy). My kids are the greatest joy in my life and the best thing that I ever did!! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Jamie, I hope you feel better.

We're about to leave to go back to the village for (hopefully) the wedding. We'll see how it works out.

Sometimes I'm glad that I am up in the middle of the night with the baby so I can see what's going on here; is that pathetic or what? But especially since I won't get to see the sweet releases till my middle of the night feeind tonight!

And I LOVED being pregnant the first time, and I couldn't wait for it to get over this last time. after my 1st son was born, I could not understand why people keep having babies. And since the birth of my second three months ago, I can't imagine not having another one! ;)

po Jo :(

speaking of Jo..where's our other Jo hanging this week haven't seen him around..tsk tsk gonna have to get the whip out
