what's one thing you wish you were better at?

1. Take better mobile photos...maybe I need a new phone, but I think it's because I don't know how to remove the grains (or is it noise?) that I see tons on my mobile pics, without losing details.
2. Shadowing

3. Composing

4. Clustering... I'm bad at clustering. I envy people like Jacinda, Brook, Tronesia, Gloria, and all the awesome scrappers here that could make beautiful flower clusters. Mine just look weird. If they look right, it's because I used Brook's or Cindy's templates. LOL. I've saved many layouts to my computer just so I could learn how to cluster better.

Journaling is really, really hard for me and I have no idea why. I get all stuck on the fact that it's going to be printed in a book for all of eternity and stress that I sound dumb. It seriously takes me so long to journal. I need to get over myself. lol.

I would like to get better at details. I mostly scrap with Cindy's templates, but even trying to fill all the embellishment spots stresses me out, especially if I'm doing a boy page and can't pile on flowers. I really admire scrappers who use elements in unexpected ways, & pocket scrappers who put the finishing touches on their pages that really make them stand out.

This is well said!I I have problems with adding details too.

Well your perfectionism is helping you make amazing layouts lately, I've been noticing! I keep thinking, "WOW that's stunning!" only to not be surprised it's by you.

Awwww. Thank you! You just gave me the warm fuzzies.

Remembering to take photos! I am so bad at remembering to take pictures. And pages about things besides just my kids. I love my girls but I want to scrap my own memories too!

I wish I was better at actually scrapping. Not a better scrapper, but that I actually made pages at all. I haven't really scrapped in years. :(

This is me. I need to get better at making time to scrapbook myself. It has been years since I have consistently done it. Kind of sad really.

Choosing a kit!
I have way too many (and I always find something new to buy)
I can spend an hour just choosingt he right kit

I suck at shadows, but I have a couple of styles that helps a lot.

And time managment for sure.

I tend to go through phases where I feel the need to try something new and I'm just on the brink of it right now.... but I'm not sure where I'm heading. One of the things I think I'd like to do is use alphas more often and add big titles to my pocket pages. I'm a small title person and half the time I don't even download alphas. I'd like to maybe focus on more creative title work and using alphas more.

Taking more pictures would be a big one, too. I was looking through photos today and I just don't take nearly as many anymore... probably because my nest is emptying. Need to find someway to fill that gap.

scrapping without templates... seems like i got no clue where to start without templates...
and journaling... everytime i journal, seems like a kiddie try to make a sentence *facepalm*
Extractions
Titles
Siggy's
Pocket pages (I want to start doing a monthly page)
I am such a slow scrapper. Of course having a one year old doesn't help!

scrapping quickly, scrapping without a template. i wish i were way better with clean and simple.. but when there are so many awesome elements, papers, glitter, stitches.. i want to use it ALLLL lol ^_^

Completing albums. (I *start* a lot of them, but finishing them is another story!)

Amen!! This is me too!!

And I find pocket scrapping to be a struggle... it takes me twice as long to do a page like than any other scrapping...

Newbie here, but not new to digi-scrap, thought I'd jump in...ROFL

Definitely using a template, I don't use them well as far as making them my own, I tend to follow it exactly. I'd also like to be better at filling a page....I look at some layouts and they've got stuff everywhere, yet the page looks cohesive and gorgeous. I envy that!
