So I've finally got with the times and bought an iPhone5 (I was previously using a very unsmart phone, lol). I would love recommendations on good apps or any tips/tricks on features! So far, I've added instragram and Kindle.

I don't know what the camera app is like on the iPhone 5, but for the iPhone 4s, there are camera apps that are available in the app store which are superior to the one that comes with the phone.
 
I have camera+ It's definitely better than using the one already on the phone... I got it after a suggestion here in the forum. Most of the apps I have are for my kids! I do like having a flashlight app, and I also use geoQpons quite a bit. I love Pandora, but I'm careful when I will use it because I don't have unlimited data.

My Fitness Pal for calorie tracking.

Map My Run for run (bwahahahaha!) I mean WALK tracking.

The Weather Channel b/c my class asks me EVERY day what the temp is and if they need jackets.

Evernote to keep my CT to-dos, grocery lists, menus, and Christmas lists.

Pinterest for obvious reasons.

Foursquare because a former coworker and me have contests on who has the most mayorships.

Camera+ for picture taking.

Instagram for picture taking.

I love the new map app that came with the last upgrade.

Tiny Tower because I'm addicted to building my tower.

Etsy for when I'm bored.

PinkPad to keep track of my cycles.

Zillow so I can make sure my house is still for sale and if it sells so I can find another house to dream of.

Sports Center to get updates on Notre Dame football games if/when I'm not watching.

I also love that the camera app it comes with has a panoramic function. :)

Plus I found a new app I use ALL the time called Cardstar - you scan in all your VIP/Rewards/Points cards that you use at the grocery store, pet store, pharmacy, etc. Then you just show your phone to be scanned at the store.

Camera Zoom FX-don't know how this compares to other camera apps, but it's better than my camera's default camera

Rachel - does this sync with a desktop? I HATE tracking my passwords. This app is $10, but it might be worth it.

I had no idea it's such an expensive app--I got mine during a sale. I just checked, and it looks like there's a desktop version that you have to buy separately for $19 in order to sync them. I checked a few other password keeper apps on Google Play, and it seems like all the highly rated ones that sync with a desktop require a subscription of $1/month or a separate purchase of the desktop version for around $20.If you have an iphone, maybe you'll have better luck finding a reasonably priced way to store and sync passwords than I did. You'd think that would be a popular option if it was priced better!
 
I use DataVault for passwords, storing credit card numbers, etc. I can't remember how much it cost but there are iPad and desktop applications as well, and they all sync with each other wirelessly. It has been really nice. It will generate passwords for you as well.

Okay, I recently got my first iphone as well, so I def need drop box and a few camera apps. One of the reasons I got it was to hopefully take more photos. :)
