What a WEIRD game ending! (fball)

Umm yeah, so bizarre. Although you could argue that if they'd avoided 8 sacks to begin with, the game wouldn't have been that close. But definitely a rough way to lose for sure. Think it'll finally bring the real refs back??
 
I'm from Seattle and a Seahawks fan, but I'm a Packers fan above all. That was the worst mistake by refs I've EVER seen!
 
If this doesn't end the Lockout, I don't think I can watch anymore...and I look forward to Football season all year. :(

Haha, yeah, that one was weird too. I think part of the problem is in both games, neither of the game-ending calls we're reviewable. No matter who the refs are - if a game ends with uncertainty like that, it's always kind of a lame ending whether it goes in your favor or not. I just couldn't believe it took another 10 min to do the point after - never seen that before haha
 
I just sat with my hubby for a half hour watching the highlights from the game. Yeah - I hope they'll get the real refs back soon. It's just sad.
 
O.M.G... so not going there... :thumbdown: My hubby - who is a very laid back guy when it comes to sports, was spittin' mad last night!! I live in the Green Bay area - and you can imagine how insane the airwaves around here are!
 
Horrible!! It was/is interesting to read my fb feed (I have a lot of friends who are packer fans - myself included). I wasn't able to watch the entire game other then the last 2 minutes and I can't believe the outcome. Definitely need the real refs back!
 
Aaron Rogers was P*SSED last night in the interview after the game. While I don't blame him, he did admit they should have never been in that position in the first place. EIGHT sacks? That's embarrassing to say the least. And really, if I were a Seahawks fan, I'd be kind of embarrassed to take that win.

It's time for the refs to come back.

it wasn't their fault though yanno? He was just doing what he's trained his life to do on a play like that.

I saw Rogers interview..yah he was mad lol It was funny though "This time tomorrow I'll be over it"
 
I haven't seen the actual video (I am a Colts and Broncos fan :) ) but I have to agree that if Greenbay hadn't have had 8 sacks, the game might not have ended with a questionable call....just saying......
 
I am def not a Packers fan. I am a Bears girl.. so.. no.. packers. However. I've watched videos of the end and that was just HORRIBLE.

there are people that bet on these games that I'm sure lost a bit of $$ on a loss b/c of an awful call or two..so to some it's not just a football game
