I am excited to see you back to designing and chatting in the forum.

I'm glad life has settled down and you are able to join us again. I look forward to seeing your new goodness in the Shoppe.

And someday I am going to meet you! I don't live too far away.

Yessss!!! Thank you for the welcome back, Melinda! I am so excited to be back. Life is certainly not much slower or settled, though. :) The kids and I just started our 7th year homeschooling! It’s a lot more work now than it was when they were little. Algebra is killing my creativity :D LOL I just realized this was something that I couldn’t let go of, and the longer I went without designing the harder it was to create something new. It’s encouraging to know there are people excited to see me back... that’s a great motivator to keep going, so thanks for that. :)

Where do you live? Do you follow me on Instagram? I’m a south fl beach bum.

Homeschooling is a job in itself! Not sure if there's homeschool co-ops there, but they saved me with homeschooling high school so I didn't have to teach chemistry and physics! And teaching textbooks has video instruction for math, also wonderful, in our experience. I just graduated from homeschooling - my youngest son just graduated!

Here's to jumping back in designing - yay!

Yes, it’s a full time job! We have a ton of co-ops in the area. My son did a science class in a co-op last year which was awesome because I’m terrible at setting aside time for science experiments and hands-on activities. And this year he’s doing a few more classes at that co-op, I’m hoping it teaches him more independence so I can focus more on my 5th grader. Our science teacher at the co-op is amazing... she is amazingly smart and engaging.

I don't think I need to say how much I love you. I think you know already.

I LOVE sneaking a peek at your life via Instagram, and that's why I don't complain TOO much about your design break. You spend a lot of time designing a beautiful life, and I fully support that. BUT I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU ARE DESIGNING BEAUTIFUL DIGI PRODUCTS AGAIN, TOO!!

So glad to have you back Brook!

And kudos to you for homeschooling! I could never do that even if I wanted to. I can barely plan a birthday party... let alone school work! lol

Welcome back, Brook!! Homeschooling is definitely a full-time job. I homeschooled all 3 of ours at one point or another. Our youngest decided he wanted to go to public school for high school, which was a really good thing because he LOVES math, and it is not my forte! When our daughter was in junior high, I actually told my her algebra teacher that I didn't believe numbers & letters should go together. He wasn't sure how to take that! :p
Good luck & hang in there!! There are days where just hanging out together is an accomplishment!
