So I signed Adrienne up for 2 free games of bowling a day with the AMF about a month before school let out. Yep she's in their data base but it is going to cost $4.25 a day for shoe rental. Which we don't have. I go to K Mart yesterday and bought her a pair of bowling shoes. I thought the price was $39.95 but what the heck she needs them. Right? So I get to check out counter and they rung up $9.00. I told the lady I thought they were the 39 dollar ones. She said nope, 9 dollars. Ok I can handle that. Then she asked if I had a rewards card. Nope but my husband does. I gave her his info then she asked if I wanted to apply his rewards towards the purchase. I asked her how much and when she told me I was floored! I only wound up paying 69 cents for Adrienne's shoes. Yeah I don't do shopping very well but was proud of myself during this trip. And my DH was happy with me too!!:thumbup:

I'm still giddy that I found a 10 piece full size bed set for Jake in January... same colors as his curtains and had airplanes on it... at full price of $120 at Kohl's... BUT between it being on clearance, an additional % mark down... and Kohl's cash (plus the lady ahead of me gave me the remainder of hers)... I got it for like $12!
 
Awesome! Every time I go bowling, I swear I am going to go out and buy my own cheapo bowling shoes because the rentals are so over-priced (and kinda gross).
 
Suh-weet! Doesn't get much better than that --- and they are brand new, too.

Didn't know you could buy bowling shoes at KMart. Thanks for the tip.
