uh, what size glue dot?

so I'm thinking of ordering the big bite @ Joann.com. Should have done it last week b/c now free shipping is for orders of $35+, last week it was $25 boo hoo.

anyway, thought i should order some glue dots . . . but I'm not sure what size. what size do you use most often?

I have the 3/8" ones that say Memory Book, they are kind of a teal color on the bottom of the baggie. The 3/16" would probably be good to have too, for stuff that is a bit smaller.
 
I just got them not too long ago but haven't had a chance to actually use them yet lol! But I've heard they work really good!
 
I'm the self proclaimed glue dots queen I think....love em, I would get large and small because you will see a need for both, however if you only want one pack, small is good because you can use more than one for bigger things but you can't use less than a big one on smaller things - did that confuse you lol :unsure:

Also, JoAnn's always has free shipping/coupons promotions with their website and if you google, chances are you'll find a free shipping code for less than $35 now. Otherwise, you can wait and it'll come back (although I know waiting is HARD!!)
 
I agree with Cindy. Get large and small ones or just the small ones. I love glue dots and use them for everything I stick onto my hybrid albums!
 
ah, thanks girls! Oh very good point, Cindy, about using multiple small dots. And thanks for the shipping code. But now that I think about it, I might as well get some glue dots. While I was doing my 52 pickup card I was really wanting some glue dots. Had to make do with double sided tape.
 
I use my mini ones a lot, forget who they are made by, but they fit PERFECT on the back of a button. I agree though, that you can always use more than one, I've done that on lots of things.
 
I love Glue Dots, they are awesome for holding EVERYTHING!!! Get every size and use them all, LOL

Yup, I love glue dots too! :D I have only ever bought the smallest ones...cause you get more in a package and they are STRONG!
 
Glue dots are the best. I need the lines ones for ribbons. I actually need to restock, Joann's was out of them last time I went.
 
I need to get some of the glue lines...I've always wanted to but never remember to look for them when I'm shopping, lol.
 
I love glue dots! I have the craft ones (my DD uses them too, they work perfectly with pompoms and googly eyes, lol) and I also use minis (they come in handy for smaller embelishments) and I also have the pop-up ones (they're perfect for adding a little more interest when you're layering things). Have fun!
