Me - for bread I prefer brown, with a big of grains but not a lot of squirrelly stuff on top (like nuts, etc.)

But for buns I prefer white ... I'm weird lol

I prefer brown for both buns and bread. I love it when they have some cranberries or raisins on, not so much when it comes to nuts.

Lol- well my buns are VERY white ;) ;) For some reason, I read it that way... I blame living with teenagers! ha!

FOR BREAD and those type of buns- I like brown- I like all the seeds/nuts and whole grains! ;)

For buns, I prefer white. For bread, it's definitely brown (except rye) with grains, nuts, sunflower seeds, etc.

We love the brioche or croissant buns from Aldi. If calories are no issue, I love a thick beer bread.

I don't eat bread very often due to a sensitivity to baker's yeast but when I do it is always white because whole grains tend to bother my stomach terribly.

White buns and brown bread.

I've recently started having fresh baked sourdough bread delivered, and their whole wheat option may be the death of me. It is so delicious!

I don't think I've ever had whole wheat sourdough - now I need to go find it!

Hahah when my youngest daughter was very little I always told her she has two cute little white buns when I was about to take give her a shower. She always came downstairs naked to tell me she was undressed. So when I was walking behind her on the stairs I told her I see two little white buns. And she always started to giggle knowing what I meant lol.

wheat is my preferred bread but I have to buy white cause it's what my family will eat. I have never heard anyone call it brown bread before.

Oh, I wonder if that's a Canadianism? The package says 60% or 100% Whole Wheat, but we've always called it brown bread (and my husband, a baker by trade, would call it Brown bread. If you add nuts, etc, then he would call it Whole Grain bread).

Probably but I have also never found different percentages to be so exact. Either 100% or just wheat. I love the bread with seeds and such in them, too. I would have trouble with a husband who's a baker. lol Yum!

Easy question? But there are so many kinds of white and so many kinds of brown! I love it all.
