Hey girls!

I know those of you who are my friends on fb are probably insanely tired of hearing about the concert. LOL I swear I'll shut up about it, but I wanted to post the video of Gracie's reaction for all of you to see.

Some of you may remember that I posted last month telling about how we had been given meet & greet passes, a backstage tour, and pit passes after Taylor's management company saw our video on YouTube. You can see my original post about it here. We had kept it a secret from Gracie since April!

Well, the concert was last night, and it was spectacular!!! I'm writing up a loooong summary of the whole night for my own journal (my memory is awful, but I never want to forget this night). But it's already like 6 pages long, so I probably won't post that here. LOL BUT better than a long summary... we have video!

Surprisingly, I was able to keep the secret until we were standing in line, and then I got my camera out and filmed while telling Gracie. Her reaction was absolutely priceless. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Best night EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for letting me share this with you guys. This is one of those moments where being a mom just plain rocks.
 
"Why didn't you bring tissuuuues!" Hahaha! She had ME crying by then!

I am SO glad you captured this on video. What an awesome memory for her to have and look back on. You can just see the complete adoration in her face as she watches Taylor on stage.

Well done Jeff on a great video, and Libby, I think you've got enough brownie point credits to last you 10 years now!

Haha ditto on the tissue warning! I can't even imagine how much more wonderful it is for you being her mom. Seriously best mom ever. :) you had it with the tickets alone, and then with the video it went way above and beyond. How amazing! Is she still on a total high?

Big ol' smile here...and a few tears. I can't believe it's been 7 months since you got tickets! That's a lot of patience for a teenage girl! :) Good job Libby!
 
tissue warning so needed. That is so freaking cute! and omg I so wanna read all 6+ pages whenever you finish. That is soo sooo sooo adorable. Chloe's guest appearance was hilarious too!
 
Best video ever! I agree it should have come with a warning for tissues! I cried right along with Gracie! You are a great Mom!

Although little Chloe threatened to steal the show with all her cuteness in her car seat. You've got some adorable girls there!
 
After reading your post on Laura's FB.. I kept refreshing the forum here to check it out! LOL

It was so amazing to see her reaction!!! I had happy tears rolling down my face while watching it!!!!
 
That was so sweet! I love how she's so into she's crying at the concert! Amazing experience for you both!

She's STILL talking about the concert. She keeps saying, "I just can't believe you kept it a secret! I can't believe you let me go all out dressing all crazy even though you knew I was gonna get to meet her!" LOL
 
LOVE it Libby! And, you know . . . with those big glasses on, I really thought Gracie looked a lot like Taylor. :) So glad you guys had a good time and that it turned out as amazing as you were hoping. :wub:

ETA - and oh yeah . . . Bean is soooo cute!
 
I cried! A lot. I should be mad at you for that but instead I totally love it! SO glad you two had the night of your life and lots of memories made! :wub:
 
My girls watched it with me because I told them the story of how she was going to get to meet Taylor. They saw Taylor in KC last weekend but when they saw the video they said, "We like Taylor, but that girl loves her. She so deserved that."
 
Why didn't you warn us that WE would need tissues?

So happy for her to have a dream come true. She looked so cute.
