Super Bowl foods...what are you making?

I'm no help. Hubby said he didn't need any snacks for the game. Guess he'll be eating the stale pretzels that we already have in the pantry. :D

thinking of making these... I came across the buns in the store and thought of this recipe...

But not sure what else to go with it... I spontaneously started a diet two days, after I bought theses buns... haha.

Oh - and I think I'm going to make Paula Deen's Gumbo, in honor of the game in LA. ;)

Since we've been trying to eat healthier we are just going to grill some chicken and maybe be wild and make buffalo chicken sandwiches with it..otherwise I'll just cook a regular dinner lol

Well I'm still trying to decide. We are waiting to hear back from the guy who is doing most of the food so we know what goes with it. Looks like it won't be something that takes too long to make.

We're having KFC, corn, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, biscuits, mac & cheese, brownies and gooey butter cake.

We are heading over to my parents house for the super bowl... they're doing pizza & wings but I'm picking up a sushi roll & seaweed salad for myself on my way over. LOL!

We picked up some pizzas at Papa Murphy's when they opened. They were fully staffed, so I think they're expecting a busy day. They're in the fridge until we get hungry.

We do pretty much the same snacks every year...chips and queso, bbq smokies and maybe some cheese, sausage & crackers. I still need to go to the store so we'll see what's left lol!

ETA: We ended up doing chips & queso, loaded potato skins & boneless buffalo wings!

Go NINERS!
It's just us. We're all sick - so we have Papa Murphy's Pizza, taco dip and queso dip. We have regular chip dip too. :)

Kinda jealous... we always say we'll have a SB party or do something special, but we never end up doing so. DH works on Sunday nights so it's kind of hard to do much. We're just having regular dinner....

We're going to have pigs in blankets, potato skins, chips & queso and raw veggies with dip. Just a bunch of little finger foods. Nothing big and nothing that takes a ton of time to fix. Especially since it's just the 5 of us.

There are 6 of us tonight; Cheyanne and I and our good friends (parents and 2 sons) so we are having:

Homemade French onion soup
Veggie platter
Fruit Platter
Fried Wontons
Spring rolls
Chicken wings
Bacon wrapped water chestnuts
Chips and dip

We found a recipe on pinterest for pepperoni rolls so DH made those and Im making a Texas Trash bean dip (cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, taco seasoning, and cheddar cheese) YUM!

So I changed my mind, and did a few 'snack' things as well...
Veggie Tray with Greek Yogurt 'Ranch',
Homemade Guacamole and yellow corn chips
Chicken-not-wings (basically tenders, into 3-4 pieces per tender, tossed in homemade sweet/spicy sauce, baked)
Baked sweet potato fries
3 Bean Chili/baked potatoes (with low-fat cheese, sour cream, onions, olives, bacon bits as toppers)
Garlic Bread
