I'm a huge movie fan - though I don't get to see as many of them at the theater as I used to. Summer is always a big blockbuster time of year, but this year, I'm not really stoked on any of them but Brave.

I'm not that into the comic book re-masters, and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter is probably going to be more violent than I like watching (though had so much fun with the book). Bourne Legacy won't be the same without Jason Bourne (but will be netflixing that one). The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is on my list this weekend :D

What are you looking forward to?
 
We don't go to the movies often. Being a family of five, it's usually just way too expensive for treats, etc.

We are doing the Summer Movie Program here (older kid movies).

If I was going to go, I'd want to see The Avengers. But only because the kids want to see it, lol.

I prefer watching movies at home so I can pause it if needed!
 
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a brilliant film - I really enjoyed it. :)

I also liked Dark Shadows in a corny sort of way. ;)

Men in Black 3 has only just come out over here so want to see that and also
Prometheus.
 
I LOVED the Avengers. I'd like to see Prometheus. I'm looking forward to Brave ( and I'm not usually into the kiddy flicks, must be the tough redhead chick ;) ), The Dark Knight, Ted and *cough cough* Step Up Revolution :o

Ainsley can't wait for the next Madagascar movie.
 
looking forward to the hunger games in august! Theatres and I don't mix so it is very rare for me to go see movies until they are on DVD :)
 
Got dragged to the Avengers and looooved it! Saw Battleship after that it was a total letdown.

Looking forward to: Snow White and the Huntsman & The Expendables 2

Will probably see: Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, Madagascar 3 (mainly because of CIRCUS AFRO CIRCUS AFRO POLKA DOT POLKA DOT AFRO) and Brave.
 
I totally want to see Magic Mike...and am only a little ashamed to admit it :p Looks perfect for a girls' night out. Oh, and Rock of Ages looks like it will be a lot of fun, too.

I'm looking forward to seeing Madagascar 3 with the kiddos.

While I love going to the movies, I don't find the summer to be the time when there are a bunch of movies out that I want to see.
 
I am excited about Snow White & the Huntsman & Madagscar 3. Not sure what else. I already say The Avengers. I usually go to 1 a month. I love movies and theaters.
 
We are all about the kids' movies because we love bringing them to the drive-in. Next week is Madagascar 3, my 2 year old is obsessed with the Madagascar movies and characters.. all she's been doing the past couple weeks is walk around the house singing "da-da-da-da-da-dah abvfro circus abvfro circussss!" LOL
and Brave, Ice Age 4
other than the kids movies I have no clue what's playing in the movies this summer, lol!
 
I love that my oldest son works for a theater! :) We get to spend all summer watching the movies for free. It's a nice perk for having to put up with a 20 year old son ;)
 
We saw Avengers last weekend and it was awesome (and I don't normally do comics). Prometheus and Snow White are already planned. I don't imagine I'll be able to drag hubby to see Magic Mike!

As sad as it is, I can't name one movie that I know is coming out this anytime soon. We never get to watch movies in theaters in the summer. Colby is just too busy with farming and I have no girl friends to go with. We go a couple of times a month in the winter though. lol.
 
I am not looking forward to any movies in particular but we love going to the drive-in so I'm sure we'll find something we want to see. Can't beat it... we pay $5 each and the kids get in free for a double feature. :)
