So did anyone watch The Memory Keeper's Daughter?

I admit I didn't read the book, but I saw that it was on and after all the talk about it, I had to watch it! Did anyone else? I thought it was really good and I bawled through the last half hour of it!

I didn't but I'll likely catch it sometime in repeat. My dh could not handle a girly movie like that. :glare:

I read the book and enjoyed it very much.

I had to work so I missed it but will catch it on reruns. The book was ok to me. I thought it was given a lot more hype than I thought it deserved. I think maybe it's because I read it right after reading My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult - which was probably the best book I've ever read.

I did!!

It wasn't bad--they left out some stuff and advanced in time without telling the audience until we figured it out.....but it wasn't bad for a movie made from a book -- and on LIFETIME at that :D

I was overall pleased with how it turned out.

I've never read the book but I was flipping through the channels last night right after it started so I decided to watch it. I fell asleep before the end though so I'll definitely have to catch it again soon. It was really good from what I saw of it so far! I've always liked Dermot Mulroney and thought he was great in the movie!

I watched and I found myself getting frustrated at the things they left out from the book.

But dh watched with me (big bonus points for him!!!) and he thought it was a good movie. Of course he didn't know all of the extras that I knew from the book, so he was a little more unbiased (or would you say a little less biased?).

I did like the ending of the movie better than the book. It seemed to have a little more closure somehow.
