Slick Writer

ok - I bought one of these pens on NSD at my LSS. I used it on paper fine but I tried to write on a mod podged surface (the clay pot my kids made my mom) and it wouldn't write at all. What's up with that???

That is very strange, slick writers even stay on vellum and transparencies! I'm not sure what the issue is. I think I'd email the mfg Amber.

Maybe just scribble on a slick surface somewhere, and then try writing on it? Maybe the paper messed it up somehow (not likely, I know, but worth a shot)?

The Mod Podge may have been sticky/tacky still, especially if you are in high humidity. Pens don't like that. Maybe next time, try doing the writing before you Mod Podge - it won't run as they are permanent.

well the kids had painted the pots - so the pen wasn't gonna write on the paint LOL. The Mod Podge had been crying overnight and it is NOT humid here in AZ lol. I am gonna mess w/ different surfaces tonight to see if I can get it to work.
