I went into my archived layouts folder to spend 10 minutes organizing them and prepping for my next order. An hour later, now i'm going in and fixing journaling and adding more stories to old layouts instead of working on projects I should be working on! I've at least restrained myself from rescrapping them..just making it so the journaling isn't horrible to read, lol.

anyone else get lost in their hard drives?

I purposely don't go back into my files unless i'm using a page like a template for this exact reason. I would totally rescrap pages i've come to hate or redo journaling, etc. I have to remind myself that my kids will just be happy to have the books.they won't care what it looks like

yeah, I don't normally go back but I am finally printing after like a 3.5 year break. I only went to save everything in the right format...sigh.

I rarely pick up a "finished" layout and touch it again (I'm lazy that way, lol). I also organize at the beginning of every month and it just involves moving files in bulk, so I'm ont really looking at individual page files.

See this is another good thing about printing yearly photobooks. The oldest unprinted layout I have is from January. If I had layouts from back when I first started unprinted, I would totally want to redo them. Now that they are already out and finished in a book, I don't mind the mistakes near as much. Point is- I could see myself doing that exact same thing!

I wish I could just have an entire year printed at once, but I am so not a chronological scrapbooker and I like to have my albums organized chronologically!
