Share Your Mother's Day Pics :)

I don't like photos of myself. Or am always the photographer. How do you ladies get over that?

Some day, when you're gone, your children are going to cherish every single photo they have of you. Give them something to cherish.

We lost my brother-in-law last February in a tragic accident just 3 days after his 28th birthday. I don't have nearly enough photos of him with us, and NONE of him with my son.:crying:

these are all fabulous and I wanted to share another one from today!! it was like pulling teeth but at least they are ALL looking at the camera!

love seeing everyone's photos!! :)

I second that. Half of the photos I have of my son are of him covering his fact and he was IMO very handsome when he actually let me take his picture. Now that he is gone I wish I had take so many more photos of him growing up from the time he born until the day of his accident.

I have no photos of myself as a child because my mom was really selfish and burnt them all when she was angry at her kids (not just me all of us). What were left that did not get destroyed my stepfather now has and will not give to me because "Im his kid too" and he wants something to remember me by. Only I cant stand him and we have not had a relationship for years and he is the reason my mom and I were not close.

So really take lots and lots of pictures. You can never take to many, Posed pictures, candid photos, bad photos, good photos...doesnt matter everyone will be a memory for those you love when you are no longer around!!

No pictures of my family at the moment since a) not everyone is in the country and b) not everyone is talking to each other

I had dh take lots of photos of me and the kids holding the present they made for me at school. I think there are only 1 or 2 where everybody looked at the camera, but still this one is my favorite. The flowers on the right was my gift from dh. :)

I agree!!! Please get photos of yourself...your family will want them. I don't get behind the camera very often ... and I should ... I have one child that I know will one day be upset when he finds out I was in very few ... because of this post, I am going to make sure I am in more!!

I was scanning negatives yesterday from 1983 ... in there was a picture of dh's sister who died at about 28 with cancer ... I have ONE photo of her with my oldest ... very few that I took myself of her (she would be way in background at parties and such) ... no way to go back and get more ... you just never know.

OMG this thread brings happy tears to my eyes so many happy & beautiful mamas ;)
Will be back later with my pics need to get them off the camera no time been enjoying my weekend ;)

We were up late Saturday night and then had to wake the boys up early on Sunday....DS1 doesn't do well when we wake him up. He had a pretty good meltdown over signing my card, so this was the best photo that DH could get.

!

Jessica, ask him to scan them all and send you the files or to copy them. It is way too easy to copy photos for anyone not share what they have.

I have precious few photos of my hubby. My son is going to OK on Saturday to stay with his Dad's sister, see his half brother for the first time since he was 8 months old and meet all John's family. They must all finally be ready to be in each others lives. He told me he wants to hear about his Dad from someone besides me, learn about his childhood and see some photos. I told him to ask for copies of the photos and will send along some money to cover the cost. I would dearly love for both of us to have more pics of John. I also asked him to make sure he takes photos with all of them while he is there. I want to scrap what I hope will be the start of a real relationship between him and his Dad's family. :)
