Scrapping with your kids

I know this has been talked about here before, but this is my first time to sit down with my daughter (she's 7) and let her try Photoshop. She's been asking for a while for me to "teach her how to scrapbook". So we finally sat down and I taught her a few basics. This is her first "scrapbook page"! And she is excited

She used Brook and La's scoop from a while back, Can We Keep It?

She did a great job! My kids have expressed interest in learning, but I only have photoshop on MY computer, and I'm super reluctant to give my computer up to anyone else. I do call on my 12 yr old for her opinion on colour placement/patterned paper selection. She has a really good eye for it.

That's great for a first LO! Both my boys (9 and 7) have played around in Photoshop and think its fun - fortunately we have Photoshop on more than one computer in the house so I don't have to give mine up! My 9 y.o. has done a couple of pages - all about our cats! He also made a bookmark (with cats on it) which I printed and laminated for him.

My boy is not interested in scrapping *maybe yet*, but he loves looking at the elements of a kit, when I am scrapping. He makes me open them one by one.

But they are teenagers now.
