Scrapping Buddies

Do you have pets that "scrap" with you? Or maybe just deter you from scrapping. LOL!
This is Coconut. :wub: She loves to sit on a blanket on my lap while I'm scrapping. She doesn't help much, because she "grabs" my hand lightly with her claws to pull it over to pet her :D

haha fun topic. No, my dog leaves me alone. My kids though... 4 and 2. I always try to scrap during nap time but the oldest doesn't want to nap anymore so she keeps pestering me until I get so fed up and get mad and then I stop what I'm doing. :(

LOL! I would consider young kids scrapping buddies, too! I was paper scrapping when my kids were young... that was almost impossible to do!
You know what always kept my kids occupied? Stickers!! Walmart has packs really cheap, and for littles you may want to take the backing off so they can get the stickers off by themselves (I did that for my grandson & it worked amazingly!).

Awww, how cute! No scrapping buddies here! Unless you count the "voices" on the radio! :)

As far as kids, mine are older now, so they are usually doing their own thing. When they were little, I used to have a section of toys by my computer desk. I could help my youngest and play with her some...yet she would have blocks of time where she was content to just play by my side so I could scrap. You could even try playing "school" with workbooks for her age. You can assign her a page or 2 to work on, while you work on your stuff. I think most of the time, they just want to be near you...even if not working on what you are doing.
 
Rotten photo but this is my scrapping buddy... when she decides she wants attention you are NOT allowed to do anything else but pet her. She'll put herself in the way of everything until she gets her fill of loves. :D

LOL! If my boys aren't here, I usually don't turn any sound on... Once in a while I'll listen to YouTube videos, but I think I get distracted too easily :D

I do miss having littles. When you're in the middle of it, it can sometimes be overwhelming & stressful. But, looking back, they were such sweet times!

I LOVE it!! She's so sweet! Vampire used to do that - sit right in front of my keyboard. Coconut at least doesn't do that, but today, she wasn't content with just one hand. She grabbed the hand I was typing with! It was like, "pay attention to ONLY me!" haha!
 
Thanks for the tips ladies. We have tons of sticker books and toys around the house. She just can't play on her own. She's starting to, a few minutes at a time, so I guess that's good. And when her sister is up, all they do is fight. The oldest just instigates and steals everything from her hands. Anyway... just ranting over here. I know this too shall pass.

Oh, I didn't even think about that when I titled the post :D I tried to change it, but it doesn't look like I can.

He looks very comfortable! Do you scrap with your laptop to the side?

All your pets are cute! We have a small chihuahua, but he usually leaves everyone alone and sleeps all day. Now night time, he's my furnace and keeps us all warm with his snuggles. He also snores and sometimes keeps me awake. But as far as scrapping with me, nah. He's useless. Do you know, he won't even get a job and contribute to the family, especially for his treats!! Yup, he's a free-loader! :D

My cat will stand in front of my monitor looking at me like, "What? Were you trying to do something?" He leaves when he gets what he wants.

I can't see your puppy's picture, Amie :( I'll bet he's adorable!!

Carrie, your Milo is so cute! My oldest wants a dog, but he doesn't want to take care of it. That's why I have cats...they're pretty self sufficient. LOL!

Kiana, you are so funny!! LOL! I suppose hubbies could be considered scrapping buddies. Or, maybe scrapping distractions! :D
 
Teddy normally lays at my side but every now and then he wants between my legs so I pull my laptop a little higher.

No pets here.
But my scrapping buddies are my sleeping littles.... 'cause I scrap when they are all asleep on their mats in our playroom.
