RQOTD: What's your favorite thing for breakfast?

Or do you not eat breakfast?

My boyfriend (trying to bulk up) sent me a picture of his breakfast the other day... 3 biscuits with jam, 9 slices of bacon, 6 eggs, a large glass of milk and a large mug of coffee. Ugh. I hate him sometimes (since I'm working on weight loss).

My go-to-favorite when it comes to breakfast is an egg sandwich. My parents bought me the coolest toaster for breakfast that makes egg sandwiches, and I love it (because eggs are totally my favorite food ever). I use a 100cal whole grain english muffin, the poached egg from the toaster, some canadian bacon, and a half slice of provolone (torn and overlapped to cover the whole sandwich). Omg. Best. Breakfast. Ever.

So what's yours? Traditional eggs and bacon? Waffles? Big breakfast? No breakfast? Shakes or juice? Pastry?

my favorite would be a egg sandwich with a croissant with cheese, shaved ham or bacon... I love croissants and I don't have them very often.

My breakfast is usually oatmeal or shredded wheat... and on the weekends, hubby cooks eggs, bacon and toast...

Yikes! He might be trying to bulk up, but he's gonna be hardening his arteries with all of that!

My daily breakfast is an apple cut into quarters, with a little Natural Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter smeared on each wedge. And a small cup of almond milk.

Now, if we're talking absolute favorite breakfast...that would probably be either buttermilk waffles or french toast with hickory smoked bacon and hash browns. But that's a rare meal...3 or 4 times a year (Christmas, vacation, etc)

I love waffles...but I very rarely eat them. Honestly, I do like a lot of breakfast food, but I hate making all of it, so breakfast is just a burden for me. And while I like the food, I really don't like eating in the morning much either, so most of the time I don't. Which is bad...I know.

I hate breakfast. I can't eat in the morning without feeling sick.. so I end up eating at like 1130.. and I just eat lunch at that point :p

I love a good egg sandwich, too!

I am a breakfast person, big time. It's my favorite meal. I love it all. Lately I've been making myself eggs, fried in a bit of coconut oil, with sauteed mushrooms and a slice muenster cheese melted over top. I think I figured it was 6 points on WW. Sometimes I add a thick slice of toasted challah bread with some butter for 3 extra points.

If I am spoiling myself out to breakfast, I love to order french toast. It's my ultimate favorite. That and banana pancakes. :)

Well...my favorite time to have breakfast is actually for dinner....and I love breakfast burritos with lots of hot sauce.

If I'm eating breakfast for breakfast, then my favorite is French Toast....yummmm...

But....since I'm back to the whole Weight Watchers fun then I usually just have some Greek Yogurt and a banana....very boring.

My quick breakfast is greek yogurt and a banana with almond butter. My "eat more protein" breakfast is an egg sandwich. My Christmas and Easter breakfast is flapjacks (crepes) and bacon. YUM.

I love breakfast foods, except for cold cereal.

My favorite would definitely be pancakes or waffles, with butter, strawberries, maple syrup, and whipped cream. Add a side of eggs so it's actually filling, and maybe a strip of bacon, and I'm set. Oh, and definitely with orange juice.

I do love a good eggs benedict though. And french toast. And Oatmeal with fresh juicy peaches and a little bit of sweetened condensed milk.

I pretty much love breakfast and feel like a good breakfast makes for a good day. That's why I hate cold cereal, because it's pretty much pointless and I feel hungry all day.

Right now I'm on a low carb diet so my new favorite thing is a baked crust less quiche/fritatta made with eggs, heavy cream, breakfast sausage (I use turkey), fresh spinach, cheddar, swiss and parmesan cheeses. The recipe I have makes 8 servings and it's so easy to just cut a piece and pop it in the microwave for 30 secs and have hot breakfast. I eat it on the go usually with a cup of coffee or tea.

When I wasn't on low carb my all time favorite breakfast was crepes with strawberries and whipped cream or homemade cinnamon almond waffles with strawberries and whipped cream with a side of link sausage, pineapple juice and coffee.

Yikes! He might be trying to bulk up, but he's gonna be hardening his arteries with all of that!

Haha, that's what I told him! Luckily, that breakfast is the exception, not the norm. He usually sticks with a couple of eggs and some toast.

All of you are making me hungry! Croissants, pancakes... mmm... sounds yummy!

I'm horrible about eating in the morning. It's something I'm constantly working on and failing. I do love breakfast for dinner. My favorite- breakfast burritos & biscuits and gravy.

I generally eat 8 oz of Fage with a tablespoon of strawberry preserves. I also love a bacon, egg and cheese english muffin, but that's a weekend-only treat.

I do eat breakfast every morning but I never did until DD was born. I don't really love breakfast foods - I HATE HATE HATE eggs (need one of those green puking smilies here).

I do actually love oatmeal - the slow cooked kind, not instant. I cook it in my crock pot overnight with some apples and cinnamon and then sprinkle some nuts on top and top with almond milk. I don't eat meat so bacon, ham, and sausage are definitely out. DD loves homemade waffles so sometimes I'll have one when I make them for her.

I used to be someone that could literally not swallow food in the morning. I still can't eat right away but I'm much better now. I usually eat greek yogurt with flax or chia seeds and berries or oatmeal with nuts and raisins or dates. My favorite though is a bed of spinach with an over-easy or soft boiled egg, a sprinkle of parmesan, avocado and grape tomatoes.

I make an egg scramble every morning. I use 2-3 eggs, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, spinach and bacon. That's my favorite way to make it minus the spinach. But most days I don't have the bacon. And on quick morning days when I don't have mushroom and onion cooked, it's usually just eggs and spinach.

My go-to breakfast is a whole grain english muffin topped with a serving of extra sharp melted cheddar cheese. If I have Smart Dogs (a meatless soy hot dog) in the house, I cut one into slices and add it on top before heating it. It adds a bit of smoky flavor.

it used to be oatmeal...every morning usually with a touch of maple and brown sugar and a banana..but since I'm not eating starches that much anymore (I might have oatmeal once a week if that) I've switched to an over medium egg over asparagus or an egg white/spinach scramble

I get up really early around 630 and have a cup of coffee or three but usually don't eat before 8-9am..can't stomach food until I've been up while.

I love breakfast for dinner too. I can't eat much if its too early in the morning or I feel gross, so lately I've been having those carnation instant breakfast shakes for breakfast :)

and I love me some bacon & eggs, but I don't think I could ever eat that many at once, LOL!

Honey Nut Cheerios & coffee. I've had it for breakfast about 355 days a year for the last 3 years or so.

Though I won't say no to cinnamon rolls or breakfast out, where I order eggs over easy with toast or French Toast or both.

Breakfast is the one meal where I pretty much love all the foods. However, I rarely eat much for breakfast if I'm home. If we are out for it, then I have a hard time choosing, but usually go for french toast and bacon. We occasionally have it for dinner and that's what we are doing tonight! :)

I want to know what kind of toaster thing you got! I love McDonald's Egg White Delight and need to learn to make those at home.

honestly, shakeology. I can't afford it now, but I did a few months of it and even though it was the exact same thing every morning, it was awesome. My stomach never wants breakfast so I either don't eat it or eat junk. when i was drinking shakeology every morning, it was refreshing to know exactly what i was going to have for breakfast and have it also be a healthy choice! also, my kids loved it :)

I was a never a breakfast eater until the past few years. It used to make me physically ill if I ate in the morning. I stumbled upon the realization that I was getting sick because I was trying to eat carbs for breakfast. I need protein instead. Carbs make me nauseous and leave me tired if I eat them for breakfast.

My *favorite* breakfast is ham, eggs, hashbrowns and toast. It rarely happens though and when it does it is more of a brunch or even a lunch/dinner.

My go to breakfast is a single egg, either scrambled or fried. Now and then I will put my scrambled egg, sandwich style, on a half of one of those sandwich rounds and add a slice of cheese. It makes a great breakfast 'sandwich' and I'm not taking in so many carbs that it makes me sick.

I like breakfast foods... oatmeal, french toast, pancakes, etc. but not so much at breakfast.

I'm not much of a breakfast fan. I eat protein shakes on my way to work. On a day off, I would eat oatmeal or cereal. That's what I like.

Right now I have either a fruit smoothie with chia seeds and hemp protein, or oatmeal. My favorite would be pancakes with real maple syrup. I also love a good fried egg sandwich with cheese and sausage.

honestly the same thing for about 300+ days of the year - fruity flakey cereal (changes depending on whats on sale but usually berry or apricot) with zero lacto milk (lactose free)
