QOTD - Favorite Element - 11.13.15

flowers and leaves by far, although I do like buttons and ribbons, but without flowers and lots of leaves my pages feel naked!

I don't think I can pick a favorite. I love love love when a kit has painty elements to put behind my clusters! Flowers and stitches are also faves!

I'll be different...no flowers/leaves.
I'm scrapping layouts of my 18 mo grandson and 15 mo great grandson and not really using flowers.
I like using elements for little boys.

You aren't alone, I don't know what to do with flowers because my guys are the most unflowery kind of guys around! I love staples and stitches, to me a page seems wonky if it doesn't have something that is "holding" it all together!

Flowers and leaves/greenery. The more realistic the better. It kills me to open a kit that has flowers but no greenery, or only one single leaf. I also like the leaves to be green. Having a leaf that is the same colours as your flowers is fine as long as there is also a green option, otherwise it does NOT help the flowers stand out at all. It's my pet peeve.

Exactly!

flowers and leaves....no page seems complete without them. They are my builders and I can add other elements from there.

I also hoard paint splatters/smears, etc because I like how they can change a solid piece of paper in to something that fits my mood right then and there!

I don't have a single favourite - but I do find that some messy paint makes my pages look so much better!

I love paint and artsy transfers/rubons.
I have way too many flowers, leaves, buttons, brads and ribbons now, so I tend to look for something a bit different in a kit these days, but then I'm not really a kit scrapper, I mix things up a lot.
