Do you follow any blogs? (Link us up to those, too!) What are your favorite kind or type of blogs to read? Any (in)famous blogs you refuse to follow/read? Do you like reading blogs more than you do social media posts or vice versa? Why?
 
I have one that I long abandoned because I can't even access it here in China :(
 
I use to have a blog, (still linked in my siggie - that shows you how old my siggie is!) but pretty much abandoned it when I found facebook. My last post on my blog was July 2012.

I follow a few, mostly they're non related scrapbook blog-foodie blogs, photography blogs, educational blogs...
I read them in feedly, easy access. I'm not so sure if I read them more than social media, but I'm always here and on pinterest :)

My blog is filled with cobwebs and spiders. I don't even remember the last time I posted to it. It just wasn't for me because it wasn't active for long. LOL!
 
no blog... I don't read many blogs - I get emails when the blogs I follow have new posts, but I don't use a reader since Google reader was closed. I follow mostly homeschooling blogs...
 
I have had many blogs in my online lifetime. I love to write, I love to share what I do, or sometimes just rant. I have never been good at keeping a steady schedule though, so sadly even blogs that I loved (and still love the idea of) have died out. I do have one blog that is on going, it is my lighthouse Blog. I am on a mission to see as many Lighthouses in my Province as possible (there's nearly 200 of them)and blog about them.... there aren't constant posts, cause I only update when I get to a lighthouse, but it's a pretty good resource to refer to. The last time I was updating it I was adding other points of interest and events that happen in the area (I have a background in tourism, so I like promoting the place I call home ;) Here's the Link - http://nslights.blogspot.ca/ again, it's been a long time since it has had an update, BUT I did just see a new lighthouse this past week-end so there will be a new post super soon!! :D

As far as reading blogs, I don't normally remember to check on the ones I like.... what I need to do is organize the ones I like and keeps tabs on them all in one spot. I love reading them, I just forget :o I tend to do more with social media, and when pages I like post that they have a blog update THEN I go visit the blog.... all I need is a friendly reminder I guess. ;)

PS: I'd love it if anyone would take a sec to visit my lighthouse blog... I have an app that collects flags (from countries and states) and love seeing where people are from that visit my blog :)
 
I don't have one and don't read any consistently. I follow a few preschool teaching boards on Pinterest whose accounts are mostly links to their blog posts, so when the topic is something I think I could use at work I pop over and read it. Like other people have said, I stopped paying attention to blogs when I started using Facebook. FB hasn't really replaced blogs for me-the blogs I followed were about scrapping and parenting, and on FB I follow relatives and IRL friends-but there's only time for so many electronic distractions if I want to scrap and get things done.

I used to love reading blogs, but when google stopped their reader, I never found a way to read them again the same way and just stopped.
