I was so happy for my dd Helena she passed her written drivers license test yesterday and she's so proud of herself as am I. :thumbup:


I know this means so much to her. She had to leave her job at Chipotle in Jan because of our accident and her broken arm. She had to put off school in Jan b/c of her arm.

She now feels like everything is coming full circle. She got a babysitting job saved her money for her test and is enrolled in Beauty School for the fall and hopefully she'll have her license in August right before her birthday. She has to wait 90 days new law in CT. She's driven and I loooovvvveeeee that about her!

and side note - that is interesting your licences are portrait... mine are still landscaped...

It's a learner one for now, her license will be landscape. It's a good way for cops to distinguish them they say.
 
That's awesome, WTG Helena! She's beautiful and looks so happy. I'm thrilled things are looking up for her.
 
awww so glad for this accomplishment Mary. She must be so excited. She's been through a lot.

In OK and Texas they flip them after your 21st birthday. Supposed to make it easier to check IDs.

Aww...first of all, gotta say she is GORGEOUS!!! ;)

Congrats to her!! My 16 and 17 year old have not done the whole driving thing yet...I am SO nervous!! :unsure:
