Prayers and positive thoughts for my cousin please

Thank you all so much. Our family really appreciates it and they wanted you to know that.

Here's an update, they went ahead and performed surgery and it apparently went well. They had to remove her whole forehead bone which has to now be off FOR 8 WEEKS. I don't know why so long but hopefully it won't have to be that long. She's still in very delicate condition and is still with us (thank you for your prayers). We keep on praying that she will get out of this and be able to raise her daughters and be with her husband again.

We will keep the good thoughts coming, thank you for keeping us updated. After you posted I read about the story online, sounds terrible. I am so sorry you are all going through this.

I know how dangerous the water can be on 4th of July. My father had boats growing up my whole life. We went a couple of times to go to see the fireworks on the boat. It is not a good time to be on the water, way too many people, too dark, way too much alcohol. We stopped doing it because it was so dangerous. Boat owners also have a tendency to overload their boats with too many people. The bay is complete chaos, especially with all the younger boaters going too fast and being reckless.

Yep this is exactly what happened. :/ A boat hit them after hitting another boat first. They had no lights on either.

my husband's childhood best friend got into a really bad motorcycle accident a few years ago and they had to remove is forehead bone as well. the brain needs time and room to get the swelling down or there can be brain damage. I hope and pray she pulls out of this

We used to rent spaces in Lake Tahoe where we could sit on the sand and see the fireworks without having to take the boat out. It was crazy to see all of the boats out in the water with no lighting on. There were also people who would just sit out on a paddle board and watch. It scared me for those people being out in the water with all those boats. Just a scary thought!

I'll continue to send my prayers, Yari. I truly hope that she will make it thru this and be happy and healthy with her family.

:( I'm so sorry I am praying for her and her family and the families of the 4 that were lost. This is so sad.

Oh, my heart is heavy while reading this. I hope she´ll recover soon, sending her tons of healing and positive thoughts. HUGS!

Thank you all for the positive thoughts and prayers. This happened on the 4th of July. :(

Update: My cousin is recovering and is on the mend. I have yet to see any pictures of her (I'm in Cali, she's in Florida) and I have not been able to speak with her, but I've been told that she is progressing and recovering very well. I am soooo happy. I have even seen her "like" some posts on facebook and wow, every time I see that my heart is full. Truly a miracle. So grateful that her life was preserved. Again, thank you, thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts. <3

Wow, amazing. So happy she is getting better. My sis-in-law lost her 8-year old brother who was on a jet ski also on the 4th of July (a couple years ago). So tragic but know realize how true it is that it is definitely a dangerous day to be on the water and to have your children on the water. They are heartbroken...
