Ok, tell me what you're watching?

nesser1981

Sweet Shoppe SugarBabe
I need something new, and something the hubby is not going to want to watch with me. Like I started Schitt's Creek and had to stop so we could watch it together, we are, but I'd already be done by now! LOL!

During this Pandemic I've watched
House
Crazy Ex Girl Friend
The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Grace & Frankie
Suits
The Good Place
I finally finished Bloodline

We just started Ozark, and I'm working on the Good Witch, but it's so sweet I think I'm getting a cavity and I need a break.

Something I don't have to pay a ton of attention to, because I'm scrapping while I'm watching.

Edited: Amazon Prime, Netflix and Disney Plus are my options.

I love "The Bold Type" and "Shrill" on Hulu. I love "Special", "Indian Matchmaker", & "Single Wives Club" on Netflix.

I am a huge fan of Bones, Monk, Psych, Criminal Minds, Numbers, Haven, Dexter (this one is rated MA so no kids around), Haunting of Hill House, Safe, Bates Motel, Raising Dion, The Stranger, Supernatural, Bosch, Jack Ryan, Grimm (most of these are on Netflix or Prime)
If you see a trend...murder mystery, crime shows are my thing...I am waiting for the FBI to show up at my door one day and ask who I am planning on killing. I have had Criminal Minds on repeat so much I can quote the episodes...I used to nap to those when the kids were in school and needed background noise...(I get migraines and sleep a lot but like some background noise...I can listen to those and not have to watch...LOL)

Are those netflix ones reality shows? I'm not a reality show girl, LOL! Not since the Real World in the 90's.

I've seen some of these, but not all, I have been considering Psych and Supernatural (this one I'm afraid I won't be able to stop, LOL!). I loved Dule Hill in Suits.

Psych is awesome and a great comedy....My 10 yr has never seen it but we have him quoting lines from it. Hubby and I visited some of the scenes from the show when we were in Vancouver last summer...the dad's house, office, beach area...it was so cool! We have our 16 yr old hooked

Just tonight we finished watching Parks and Rec with our almost-teen. It was her first and our third watch (not during Qtine but in life lol). And I'm currently rewatching New Girl.
Other ideas:
Republic of Doyle
Hinterland
Vera (a new find for me; I DVR when they're on PBS)
Murdoch Mysteries (aka "The Artful Detective)
Frankie Drake
Dead to Me
Schitt's Creek<<<<just watch it without the others. I didn't even start it with DH. I liked it too much!
Grace and Frankie

Total LOL about Good Witch. DD and I watch but we also need to take breaks. :)

Definitely, Supernatural. We don't have internet TV (netflix, etc), but if they have Fringe, that's a good one too.

My hubby and I just started Friday night lights. He is a sports fan and had never seen it. Love the relationship between the coach and his wife. Prior to that, we watched second season of umbrella academy - very quirky but great characters. We also watched Blacklist and are waiting for the most recent season to release. My daughter and I were watching Chuck before she headed back to college.

Loved Friday Night Lights and Chuck.

Umbrella Academy is on my list and Blacklist (DH wants to watch that one).

My 16 yr old is recommending Once Upon a Time if you haven't seen that one. Bosch and Jack Ryan are on prime, they are really good. We like the books.

Last night, we watched the entire first season of Cobra Kai. My husband pulled it up on Netflix & I was like, "Oh, I'm going to read to the kids. Please don't wait on me to return...very not interested in watching this." I was finishing up something, so stayed downstairs during the first 2 minutes of the show & became so intrigued....I'm pretty sure my kids put themselves to bed a few hours later. I never made it upstairs, LOL.

Since quarantine started, I've watched
Crash Landing On You {K-Drama, and in my top three favorite shows ever}
Community
Agatha Christie's Marple

I'm in the first season of Schitt's Creek, and I like it, but not enough to binge it.

During the pandemic we watched:
- Lost (I know really old, but I had never seen it)
- Stranger Things
- La Casa de Papel (Money Heist)
- The Expanse

I LOVE the umbrella academy (rewatched the 1st season before I watched the 2nd one :) ) also another fan of supernatural and I really liked Lucifer :)
Artemis Fowl on Disney+
Abby and Sam recommend Outer Banks
Lock & Key

My daughter suggested BoJack Horseman on Netflix. I'm on season two, but I'm not sure that I like it.

Once Upon a Time is my favorite. Love Hook!

Jack Ryan also loved. Bosch I'll add to my list. I think Hubby may want to watch that as well.

Thanks ladies, a lot of new things I'll have to check out.

Cobra Kai is also on the list, but not without the hubby. LOL! He messes everything up. ;)

We binge watched the Americans and LOVED it! (On Amazon prime)
Watched ozarks, and now I’m binge watching The Flash with Eli at his request.
We are not huge series watchers we are more likely to turn on a good movie if we watch tv.

I'm probably no help, I only watch TV with my girls. But we've watched:
Alexa and Katie
The 100
Stranger Things
Fuller House
cooking shows
Tiny House shows
Saved by the Bell
Baywatch (the original ones)

We have a list of original Disney channel movies (like the Sunday night at the movies etc) that we are going to work our way through.

I really loved Little Fires Everywhere.

Just started on The Boys on Prime which is a weird one about Superheroes.

Loved:
Fleabag
Big Little Lies
Castle Rock
The Fall
Lucifer
The Crown
You
Sherlock
GLOW
Haunting of Hill House (season 2 coming soon)
The Witcher (LOVED it)
Marcella
Sex Education (risque but so worth it)
After Life
Snowpiercer
Russian Doll

Another fan of Sherlock here. But it’s been already a long time ago since I watched it.

Things on Amazon Prime:
My hubby likes The Boys. He was excited when he remembered the new season started tonight. I've not watched those, but it is superheroes with a bad boy attitude from what he has said, so I could probably watch it.
*The Expanse. this one is sci-fi. The first season is slow, but it gets better if you hang in there.
*Goliath - dark and gritty law show.
*Alias - older spy series that kicked off Jennifer Garner's career. I loved watching it when it was on originally and have enjoyed rewatching her kick butt ;)
*Top of the Lake - grittier cop show with a persistent detective pursuing child and sexual abuse cases in its 2 seasons. The second season ended kind of abruptly we thought - maybe COVID did in the filming of the end? anyway, still pretty good if a bit slow overall.
*ER - I jumped on the ER bandwagon years into its long run when it was on originally. Hubby and I just started watching it from the beginning and it is just as good as I remembered. It is kind of weird seeing all of the main characters so young, and knowing what some of the big life things for them at the end that are totally different from their situations at the start.

Little Fires Everywhere was really good - I think that was on Hulu though...

We've watched soooo much on Disney+ - It is our go to. I have a huge library of physical Disney movies, but it is so easy to just find things there LOL

I love the Good Fight. I watch it on CBS AllAccess (it an original program to this service) - didn't know it was on Amazon Prime too now.

I binge watched Big Brother All Stars yesterday as I was working on completing my 2017 PL album.

We just started watching Good Fight and really like it. We’re on season 1 episode 5.

So DD and I just finished Parks and Rec. (Well, it was a rewatch for me but her first time. ) She's 13, so she's excited because we've started letting her watch TV that isn't made specifically for kids. Anyway, thanks to this thread, now we're watching GP together (again, rewatch for DH and me, but first time for her). It's the same creator and many of the same writers and P&R and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, another show we both loved, so part of me is like "Why didn't I think of The GP on my own?!" lol, but I'm glad for this thread for giving me the idea!
