Monday, Monday -- What's Shakin'?!

What's going on with you ladies this week?

My husband is waiting to hear back from a job & has a final interview with another one Tuesday morning. He thinks it is more likely that he will get the second job but the first job pays $15-20K more so I'm hoping for that one!

Otherwise, it's a regular week. DD had a long weekend for her fall break, and now it's back to the grind. She is looking forward to trunk or treating at her school Friday night.

Finally getting some routine back here, my son and husband have had hand foot and mouth disease but are much better now and hubby back at work today.

Anybody want to volunteer to do all my laundry which seems to be breeding? I swear there is someone else living here that I haven met yet based on the amount of laundry I have!

Busy as always here. Just back from a relaxing weekend and looking forward to getting some time to be creative this week.

Hope your husband gets the job LeeAndra!

fingers crossed, LA!

We had a crazy weekend...my mom broke her shoulder last monday, so we spent a lot of time at her house, just helping out with the little things (well, all the things) she can't do.
This week is lots of appointments, as usual LOL
LIFE NEEDS TO SLOW DOWN!

It's been a hectic month around here. This week is exam week for my daughter and I've been helping her prepare for it the past couple of weeks. Winding down to the last few weeks of school for us here, very excited to be free :p

My kids are home today. Teacher in-service this morning and parent-teacher conferences this afternoon. They'll probably play video games all morning, then sit in the hallway while I talk to their teachers this afternoon. Here's hoping for no issues. (I'm sure if there were issues, someone would've talked to me by now. Right?)

Crossing my fingers for your hubby, La!

Just back to the weekly usual for me. The hubby stayed home this morning. It irritates me when he does this. 1. I have no idea why he stayed home. 2. He is no help to me when he does. He slept the whole time while I got myself and the kids ready for school. Ugh! So frustrating! At least be of some help to me. I would have liked to have slept in, too.

I may take Friday off. It's elementary school teacher conference day so Cole has the day off but Mattie still has school. I could ask any of my friends to watch him but I'd kind of like to skip work that day. Friday would have been super helpful for the hubby to decide to stay home. :p

I hope he gets the job! Job hunting is HARD! I went back to work last year after staying home with the kids for 5 years...and now they don't have work for me...go figure...we come home from vacation and poof! no work for me. It's frustrating and stressful I can tell you that!

ANyway, it's nice & quiet here with the kids in school & hubby working. I'm slowly making my way through a huge pile of laundry!

It's a rainy day here in Southern California (never rains lol) so everyone is driving slow or all crazy. Thankfully I don't take freeways or I'd be stuck on there still...

Good luck to your husband with the job!

I want to work out this afternoon--it's been a week. I got a couple stitches in my abdomen Wednesday, so I've been a slug. Hope it's not too soon.

Crossing my fingers for you LA!

This week is crazy busy and I just realized how busy it is last night lol! At my girls school, it's book fair week & SEPs (P/T Conferences) with a family night and then a morning "parents & pastries" tomorrow. Then I have some girls nights & home parties to attend, we've got the rest of the Halloween celebrations to do like pumpkin carving and actually going to the pumpkin patch (which we need to find a new one since our move...sad!) haha! Then I have a LLR home party on Saturday followed by our church's Halloween party.

And Brian's got some big projects so he's super busy at work & will be working late most nights ha! Again...crazy. But I'm looking forward to it all.

Cole is in school. I have my two year old son Cade (He will be three in a few days) and I watch my cousins two year old Ava. I'm currently trying to keep them in clothes. They keep taking off their clothes and diapers. Even though they get in trouble. You'd think it would be a sign for potty training. Yet, every time I put them on the potty they do NOTHING. They just want to be naked!

This weekend I found out that I'm having a GIRL! I'm 15 weeks pregnant. I'm not buying anything until I get another person saying it's a girl. I have two boys already. This baby was a surprise as we tried for our other two and the miscarriage I had in between the boys.

Congrats, Cindy! We had a surprise girl after two boys & a miscarriage as well, and she makes our life lots of fun!

Hope he gets the good paying job, LeeAndra!

Ariana has semester break this week, so it's just me & her at home. We have little things all week, but nothing big or time consuming. But I wish we did! I'm so bored lately; I really wish I had a job to keep me busy.

I woke up yesterday morning with the feeling that it was Friday all day.... if that's any indication to what kind of week this is going to be, then it's gonna be a long one. At least the boys have no school on Friday due to Teacher's Conference so I'll get my "Friday" one day sooner LOL

Crossing my fingers for your hubby, LA!

Congrats, Cindy! That is so exciting!

This week hasn't been too terribly busy compared to the last few, but we've got a lot planned this weekend. I've been under the weather since Saturday, so I'm desperately trying to will myself to feel better so that I don't have to miss out on any of the fun. On the agenda are a ghost tour on Thursday night, coffee with a friend after work Friday and maybe hit up a haunted corn maze, Fall Steeplechase on Saturday (It's a series of horse races; a big deal in the town where I live) followed by a concert that night, and a Halloween party at my mom's church on Sunday evening. Like I said, I've got too much to do to be sick!

LA, hopefully there isn't too much waiting involved, I hope the interview went well yesterday.

Cindy, congrats on your baby girl, how exciting!

AFM, just business as usual.

Work, basketball, gym, plasma, run around, be busy, just the norm. Though the bonus is that I have no real plans for my days off, so relaxing and doing my own thing (besides laundry, etc).
