Managing Brushes in Photoshop

I have a ridiculous quantity of brushes in CS5 and I'm wondering if there is an easy way to categorize them? Can you create separate folders or sub-categories or something in the Brush Preset palette? I'm tired of scrolling through several hundred brushes (yes, I have an addiction! ) looking for the one I need. Surely that's not the only way to use that palette!

I don't keep mine installed, Joana - I keep mine in folders on my hard drive and only install if I'm going to use them. That way, I have a pretty limited amount taking up power.

Now, of course, I only have CS3 - ahahahahahaha

If you use the preset manager you can make a collection of your favorites?

I feel the same way about STYLES... I want to be able to SEARCH in the panel! I was hopeful that we could in CS6... like in the Beta version we can search in the layers panel now (which is nice!) but I want to be able to search in brushes and styles as well. Wouldn't it be nice to just search in brushes panel for say "stitches" and up comes your stitches brushes. But alas, I think we are out of luck :-(

Nope. Can't be done and it drives me crazy too! Every once in awhile I go in and delete them all and then reload as I need something.
