The sickies hit our house in January and they refuse to leave! We've dealt with the stomach bug for a few weeks and now we are dealing with the flu for a few weeks. I'm currently waiting to hear back from my xay today to confirm pneumonia. After taking care of the kiddos for weeks, then me coming down with this nonsense yesterday, my husband came down with the man-cold today :blink: :crying: I'm pretty miserable from all the coughing and inability to breathe and now him?!! :crying::blink::D

So make me feel better. :wub: What have I missed since last week? I know I missed a few birthday celebrations. I'm going to try to get to them before I have to go back to bed. I see there's a store sale with not one, but two amazing FWP. :wub::wub:

What else have I missed? What about with you?

It's day 5 in to February and I haven't started bingo! Who's started bingo and has at least one line completed (I know some of you do already!)

Please tell me a joke, share something funny....distract me from the sickies and my husband's man-cold!!
 
Oh Wendy, I am so sorry that you all have been hit with so much of the sickies. I have felt pretty awful the past couple days - I thought it was because we need a new mattress because I was waking up feeling like someone had used me as punching bag. Turns out hubby has said the same thing. And then the congestion and headaches. Don't our bodies know we don't have time for this stuff?

I've completed 6 bingo layouts so far though not in any order but just as the inspiration hits. :-) I think I am off to a good start for my first time participating!

Erin, 6 layouts so far! That's amazing.
I played the bingo challenges for years and I also didn't do them in order, just random.

Wendy, you should definately check out the two FWP kits. The tickled pink is sooo fun with so many beautiful flowers, patterned papers and elements. It even has a free template as well.
The challenges are posted every day from Monday to Friday. Some are easy and quick, some are scrappy challenges. And the best part is that you can win some pretty awesome prizes.
 
Oh and Wendy. You can still catch up on Bingo. Nothing is lost. You can do it girl!

As my 3-year-old was eating "smarshmellows" this weekend, he told me, 'These are good for you, Mommy!" I said, "No, they're not really good for you, honey..." and he interrupted me to say, 'No, but they make you smile!" #truth #outofthemouthsofbabes
 
Nothing exciting going on here that's for sure. I hope that you are all better soon, though. I hate those times. I am so glad that thankfully things like that have lessened with my kids being older. I only have one in school now so hopefully we get nothing lol. My mother in law lives with us and I am always afraid of her getting sick, she is 75.

I have only done 4 pages so far. .I find I am struggling to have pics that fit a lot of things this month so I amy do either some reaching with my inspiration or more picture taking lol. Thats they only sucky part of not scrapping for ages is that I stopped taking as many photos and need to get back in to it.

Oh my goodness, LeeAndra, that is so cute! Such wisdom from your little guy :D

I'm so sorry you've been dealing with this for so long, Wendy. I know it feels like forever, but you will feel better and hopefully soon! I'm just getting over the ickies myself (my youngest passed it on to me). Hoping that my other 2 guys don't get it.

I've only done 1 BINGO LO so far this month. So, we'll hold hands and move forward! :wub:

I'm in the same boat....Me and my son had the flu, husband had a man cold and coughed all over the house all day and now I think I have that. I feel like crap!!! Hope you get some relief soon!!

I knew you were on a role with your Bingo layouts! You were busy during the Super Bowl! I'm sorry you aren't feeling the greatest now. I hope it passes quite quickly!

Aww that's so cute!! My kids tells me all the time they are good for us too! Funny kids!

My kids are older--they are the ones who actually brought it all home to us and the youngest! :cursing: Guess they share germs in high school and middle school just as much as they do in elementary!! I don't blame you for not wanting to get your MIL sick!! Stay healthy!!

Four pages is still pretty good!! I joked to my kids last month that I'm going to run out of photos if I scrapped as much as I did last month (it was 79 layouts!) I joked with the kids they have to start letting me take photos of them and scrap them instead of deleting them off my camera because"they are bad" :glare:

I've done one so far. I started working on two but sitting at my computer gives me the coughing fits. I can't scrap from the sofa. Really need to get a laptop that I can use wherever I am. I say this every year and every year I chicken out from buying one. It's such a commitment!! :crying:

Oh no!! I'm so sorry you have it now! This flu is the worst!
My husband's 99 degree temperature kept him home yesterday, but today I was like "GO TO WORK!" :cursing::D Then I reminded him that while he thinks he is sick, when it actually hits, he's going to be sorry. My oldest was like "Daddy, I thought I was going to die!" and then proceeded to ask him if he feels that badly because if he didn't, he could go to work! :D Gotta love that kid! She's not going to tolerate the man cold if she ever gets married! :D

We just got back from the vacation and I was sick from the 2nd day we were in Singapore. I lost my voice by the next day and still cracking funny voice until now. So I feel for you. Hugs hugs!

I have been sleeping a lot these 2 days we are back. Really hoping to get back to scrapping soon. :)
