So we've had this tv for about 6 years. Bought it at a pawn shop for $100. We've for sure gotten our money's worth out of it! But, it's our living room tv
It's huge. Old, but we love it. The other day, we were in the middle of watching and it flickered a bit and changed to this:

My first thought was it was one of those 3d ready tvs, and it switched somehow lol, but there's no 3d setting anywhere in the menus. My dh took it apart (bc that's what he does lol) and couldn't figure out what happened. No idea what part broke to hopefully just replace it. The R G and B lights are working just fine, and we tried adjusting them, but it just makes them blurry or more focused, so they didn't move or anything.
We tried googling, but can't figure it out. Does anyone or anyone's dh know about tvs that might have an idea? We briefly thought about just replacing it finally, but then our car broke down and so that's not going to happen. Might not even fix it if it's too much. But I also don't want to pay someone to tell me what's wrong if I don't have to. Dh is really handy, but he's never done this. It may not even be fixable, I have no clue lol.
