He looks so much better!! ANd the fact he is growing I know has to be a positive. I never even thought about the trach and how he would not be able to cry. My husband could not talk and it was beyond frustrating for him and for us because we had no idea what he wanted and he didnt have enough muscle control to write either. I hope he continues to imrpove and soon will be trach free!
OMGosh...I love his chubber cheeks...I just wanna eat him up!!! Keeping you all in my thoughts that before long...you will all be together at home!!! :hugs:
Kara - he is just beautiful! I'm so glad he's making progress! I just want to reach through the screen and scoop him up and give him a big squeeze. What a precious boy you have there!
He is just beautiful!! I tried commenting on the blog last week and it wouldn't go through from my iPad!! I read the blog and pray for Timothy daily! It sucks that he has had to go through so much in his short little life! I pray that he grows stronger and he'll be home where he belongs before you know it. I know how exhausting having a NICU baby can be on top of having children at home. I'm sending lots of prayers to all of you!
What a little sweetie! I'm so glad you are seeing an improvement but agree it is heart wrenching that he can't cry. My mother says it was the worst part of my brother's trach, but that the trach itself saved him so she cried for him when necessary. I will continue to pray for you all and while I will check the blog I also encourage you to share Timothy's progress here. We all care and want to support you as best we can.
I am so happy to hear that he is making progress. My thoughts & prayers are still with you guys & I pray daily that you guys can take him home soon. Big hugs!
Thanks for the update, Kara. Your family has traveled such a hard road with your sweet little guy. I'm so happy to hear that he is starting to improve and that you're planning for his discharge! He's adorable.
Kara - continuing to pray for your family. He is such a cutie and hopefully soon some of his personality will start showing through. You are one amazing mama!
