What is everyone up to? Busy shopping and wrapping and shopping and wrapping?

I'm working today until 1:00pm. Right after work my friend and I have a 3.5 mile run to get in. We're training for another 1/2 marathon. Then I'll pick the kidlets up from daycare and head to Target so the girl child can get her bff a gift....maybe a couple more stocking stuffers for the hubby.

I just got back from the salon and don't have a lot to do today FOR ONCE. I have a Christmas thing with dh's family this evening, but I have to basically just make an appearance and leave because I've had my Christmas party with my besties planned for a couple weeks already. I just need to get their gifts wrapped and make a spinach dip and I'm DONE.

Tomorrow I'll clean the house so I can totally relax on Cmas and not feel guilty, lol!

How long is a half marathon? 13 miles?

Since we celebrate Christmas eve here in Sweden, today is the day before Christmas. At this time I'm usually super behong on Christmas prepparations, but not this year. This year I'm all done! (Us moving January 1st and pretty much everything being packed allready might have something to do with it). So instead I've spend a few hours now updating thumbnail images for my etsy shop.

Yes...13.1 miles. Never would I have ever thought that I'd run a 1/2 marathon. Now, it's a thing for me. LOL!

working..til 5 blah

i work tomorrow until 1 then off until Monday yayy :) Gonna spend my weekend designing lol

I hit 2 grocery stores since one didn't have everything I needed. Hoping I don't need to go back for a few days! My son has an appointment at 2 and then it's wrap and maybe bake some cookies. I've decided that if the cookies don't happen they don't happen. Life will go on!

Half marathons and marathons are crazy!!! But kudos!

It's Christmas Eve morning here - one kid is awake, the other still sleeping. Yesterday they helped me deep clean the kitchen while Dad did lots of jobs outside (painting the house, mowing the lawn, doing the gardening, prepping for concreting etc). Oh, and we wrapped all the presents last night. We were super productive and the house looks a lot cleaner than it usually does (haha!) so today we'll do a few more jobs, but mostly we'll chill out and take it easy.

We finished baking this morning, now I've got my niece until this afternoon. Gifts are wrapped though. Did some cleaning, now I'm working on a few things on the computer. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve here and I've got some cooking to do before making our rounds to the families.

Kids and I are on break all week, so I've been trying to get through some of the housework and organizing that has been put off for way too long. DH and I have both been so busy all fall that the list of things I hoped to accomplish this week was huge.

We have family coming in tonight and more tomorrow, so today is my last chance to get anything done. We'll be busy with them until Monday, then next week the kids and I have lots of plans together before school and work start again.

Wrapping gifts and counting presents to make sure it is fair for all the kids! The kids get out early today (now). My parents are coming tonight.

I'm in Iowa and we usually have a white Christmas. We have just had snow one day this winter. Currently, it is pouring rain and I can hear thunder...not very Christmasy. This is the one week a year where I wish it was snow instead of rain! At least my parents won't have a stressful drive here I guess!

No shopping here. I do need to wrap gifts but haven't been in a rush since I was afraid the 1 year old would rip them open. I've been fussing with the Silhouette making a banner and later going to be cutting out a few things to make some Christmas games/crafts for the kiddos.

Right now we are headed out to the Apple store to see about my iPad screen. Backlight not working on one side, so it's completely black.

I've been trying to get my Bingo card done! I know I won't have time after today, so going to try and do my last one! Yay!

I dislike when you can't get everything you need at one store and have to go to another...blah! Good luck on getting cookies done...I will do that tomorrow with the kiddos. :)

For me it's mostly work, basketball, work, basketball. I've been done with shopping and wrapping for a couple weeks now and I'm done with my baking/cooking too. Work has been what's been crazy for me the past month ;)

Kids home for the next 6 weeks, and it's hot hot hot. So we're spending heaps of time out in the pool and trying not to die from the heat. It's Christmas Eve here today, nothing special planned but we always drive around & look at lights before bed. Christmas is VERY laid back here, no stress & no rushing around. It happens no matter what so no panic.

Wow you are busy!!!

I've been helping my parents do some work on my late grandmother's house so they can get it on the market in the new year. Today we painted trim and blessed my grandfather for painting it such an ugly color! Tomorrow the older girls will watch their brother (since today was their last day of school for the year), and I'll head down to my grandmother for more painting, only to rush home by 2pm to take the little man to the local theater to see The Good Dinosaur. It's always something here that keep us busy!

Cooking & cleaning today. Just prep work for tomorrow, but I haven't stopped, but I'm done for today.

I spent today going to a few stores, mostly getting fresh produce for Christmas Dinner. I have a few items still left to wrap. Then the fun begins! We see hubbies side of family for a big Christmas Eve dinner. Then Christmas at home. Then we drive south to see my folks.

I've been trying to keep my kiddos from killing each other and/or setting the house on fire. :p

I am beyond frustrated that it's taken nearly 2 weeks for our rental reference from our former landlord to be filled out and sent back in. We really wanted to be in our own place this week but now it will be dragged out until next week.

Oh, and I decided what company I want to work for by the end of 2016 (a company that created a software program for tweets) and so I've been busy re-establishing my Twitter presence. This company -- Buffer -- is all remote work and has an insane benefits program. They have semi-annual retreats around the world (last summer was Iceland, next month is Hawaii) that they 100% pay for each employee to attend. They also provide you with a Macbook and a Kindle (and books) for free & pay you $1k each year to take a vacation (& $500 per spouse & dependent). They pay really really REALLY well, too.

I helped my mom make Chex Mix and I still need to make DH's GF Chex Mix tonight. I need to finish Christmas shopping tomorrow afternoon (I know, I know!) before Christmas Eve service at 5 pm with the fam at my mom's church. We'll have snacks at my parents' and then I'm going to sneak out to the 11 pm service at my church.

I still need to finish shopping, wrap, make/bake Christmas Eve and Day goodies, and let's not talk abt how behind I am in my Countdown to Christmas album! :p

Sorry. I am all over the place today!

Another big snowstorm was supposed to hit yesterday through today & make commuting a nightmare...so DH stayed home. It was pretty dicey this morning but then cleared up and became a nice day. Rian had a "late night" last night so everyone slept in and we just hung out in the morning. DH ran to pick up a present that we keep forgetting to grab (the new Pie Face game...yes!), then I left to get me something (lol), & then he took the girls out to get my gift. Lola's had it picked out for a few weeks now and is SO excited to give it to me haha! I love that girl. I'll be finishing up the night with some work & exercise.

Tomorrow will spent wrapping & baking. Oh, and watching Christmas movies. We haven't watched any so we need to make up for it!

Friday will be spent at our home in the morning & when the girls are ready, we'll head over to my parents for exchanging gifts & dinner. Can't wait!

My girls and I spent the day delivering little gift bags to our family today, It was a great day, we still have a bunch to do tomorrow. We also took some donuts and drove around the parking lots of the grocery stores and gave them out to the guys collecting the carts! they looked hungry and tired! My girls are so excited about Christmas they can hardly sleep so that makes for some long nights! I am off work until Jan 4th so I am super excite. Let the holidays begin!

Its already Christmas Eve afternoon for me... we are one week into our 6 week summer holidays but I came down with the flu on day 3 and we have been cooped up at home all week slowly going crazy with cabin fever.

So this morning, now that I'm mostly better, I decided we're getting out of the house or else!! I took my boys into the city and we walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and poked around in the city for a few hours. There was a cruise ship in port which added to the things to see... we had the BEST morning. Thought I'd share the amazing view from the bridge.

Sorry that it's taking you so long to get into your own place. Hope that happens soon.

And holy shite on that job! I hope you are able to get in...sounds amazing...I want to work there!

Looks gorgeous! Australia is definitely on my bucket list!

I'm off starting tomorrow thru the new year! I'm going to enjoy those 11 days off.

Dh has mandatory vacation every Christmas too and I loooooove it. He and the kids have the same vacation schedule so we're all home for 2 weeks.

This is the one week a year where I wish it was snow instead of rain! At least my parents won't have a stressful drive here I guess!

Isn't it horrible? I'm supposed to have a white, snowy forest view in my backyard and instead I'm looking at brownish greenish muddy blech stuff, and of course the dogs are bringing it in on their paws all day. So I'm constantly sweeping and mopping up mud and dirt. It's driving me NUTS.

I can just never wrap my head around you Aussies and your hot winters. It's a bizarre contradiction to me, lol! Do you guys think it's weird that it's cold here? (I'm in the northern U.S.)

Well, I'm sorry you've been sick but I'm glad you're better and that you got out and enjoyed some time with the kids. What an amazing city! My town sucks.

Well, I thought I didn't have to leave the house (aside from Cmas Eve service tonight) till after Christmas, but I forgot laundry detergent.

I seriously have to go out just. for. laundry. detergent.

Me, too...forgot the sour cream...and I don't even eat the stuff.

LOL - I had to get laundry detergent today too :D And a few other things once I was there.

This is the first moment I've had to sit down and really visit the forums in a few days.... the boys all just went to bed, thankfully it's still early enough that I can take a few minutes to relax before I have to make some magic happen ;)

I made it through today in one piece! *fist pump*

Regular taking care of the kids + finishing Christmas shopping + getting everyone dressed for Christmas Eve service + keeping Ellie quiet(ish) and occupied during service + making dinner afterwards + getting both kids to bed + wrapping & assembling all the presents (my 'dear' husband watched me from the couch when he wasn't asleep & sawing logs!) + going to my church's 11 pm service + making a cake for tomorrow + finishing the presents + offloading photos from my camera... and it's 'only' 2 am!

I AM (SUPER)WOMAN! HEAR ME ROAR!
