Okay so I took all these great pics but how in the heck do I get the editted instagram pics out of phone and on to my layout? I am able to get the original pictures out of the phone but not the instagram version. Talk to me ladies - what in the heck am I doing wrong?
If you have a Mac, you can set it up thru iCloud and they'll automatically load. If you don't, just email them to yourself? I don't know if there's an easier way or not.
Well, I'm so glad you asked this because I just looked on my camera, and there's a whole sep folder for the instagram pics. I had no idea! I'll just pull them off with the cable like I do the rest of my pics! Very cool!
I didn't realize I could grab them from Facebook so I guess I can try that. The cord isn't working, but maybe I don't have the right directory on the phone. I was thinking I'd be able to grab them from Instagram on the web but no go on that. LOL! Guess I should have practiced this before I started A Week In The Life.
i can get them on my phone when i hook it to the computer but i have a friend that can't. she used Instaport-a computer program. it's free to download. just go to instaport.me. you sign in with your instagram info.
I import them in from Lightroom. They are in their own special folder & on my phone it's on a different drive than the regular photo storage for some reason.
There's an email option under twitter and Facebook, I haven't tried it before but if you set that up you can send them to email as well as Facebook in one go.
I usually just plug my sync cable into the laptop every few weeks or so!
I haven't used Instagram on my Android much except for one test photo, but as I was transferring my phone photos from SD card to my computer yesterday, I ran into a folder with that Instagram photo. Just click around on all the folders, and you'll find it.
I got it figured out late last night. There is an instagram folder...it's kind of buried in the directory listing but I found it. Hopefully this will make creating my WITL pages go faster and I'll get it done this year!
