I'm so excited!

We've been sorta/kinda looking for a new house the past couple of years. Not seriously looking but just keeping feelers out. Where we live there is not a lot that comes up on the market and we've been wanting lots of land with it which is even harder to find.

Well this weekend we looked at a place that I LOVE. The house is gorgeous and has so much more space than what we have now and it's on 72 acres. And the best part is that it overlooks a small lake. I'm seriously in love with it and we are probably going to put a bid down on it today or tomorrow! I've been trying not to get my hopes up..but you know how that goes. In my head it's already my house lol

It's even further out in the country than we are now...but I love it. It's just exactly what we want and seriously I'd want it for the kitchen alone b/c it is my DREAM kitchen. You could fit 3 of my current kitchens inside it. I love love love it.
 
So exciting!!! That sounds fantastic! I hope you get "your" house. ;)

We've been wanting a bigger house with lots of space to roam for years... this area is so expensive I'm thinking we may never get our dream. I will have to live vicariously through you! :D
 
So happy for you Nikki! I hope you get it! I think I remember seeing pictures of your current house too which is just gorgeous! Love that you have land!
 
Oh, that is very exciting!!! And I'm totally jelly of a big kitchen!!! :thumbup:

I would love to move to a larger home... but our house value took a dive with the economy and now our 10 year old home is competing with new homes of the same size.
 
oooh how awesome!! i hope you get it! your home now is my dream home so i can only imagine how amazing this new one will be!!
 
I've seen pictures of your current house, and I can't believe you've found something better! I can't wait to see pics.
 
Oh, good luck, Nikki. I can tell you I had tons of odds stacked against me on getting my house which is perfect for us, but it all came together and I a currently sitting in it. :) I hope you get it!

I do love the house we're in now but there are lots of things about it we're not happy with..mostly the space and the layout. The people who owned it before us didn't have children so it's not the most functional space for us. And the kitchen is super tiny. I hate my kitchen.

Anyway, it looks like it may not happen. The house is in foreclosure so the bank owns it and they will not do a sale contingent on us selling our home. So even if we make a bid and they accept they will not take it off the market until we sell our home. So we're not really sure what we will do. I shouldn't have even looked at it b/c now I want it so badly. I guess we'll see.

Is there an online listing we can check out? (I love to "snoop" at houses on sale online!)
