i gots roots

I grew up in western Ky (which is still where my WHOLE family lives!). Once I graduated from highschool, I spread my wings and flew to Boston, where I lived for a year and half, (and miss it every single day! Best town on earth :). Met my ex-husband and moved to Galveston, Tx, which I absolutely hated! After a year and some change, finally convinced my ex to move us back to Mass or Connecticut, but stopped by a friends house in Roanoke, Va on the drive back up north. And I have been here ever since :) going on 13 years! I love this town and every time I think of leaving it (to move closer to my family, which I do miss greatly) I just can't manage to do it! It's been my home my whole adult life, met my current husband here, and well, my whole life is here!
 
I was born in Houston, Texas and lived there until 1990.
Then we moved to the metro Phoenix, Arizona area and I lived there through college.
Lived in Boston, Massachusetts for 3 years for law school.
Moved back to Phoenix until I got my first law job up here in Bullhead, Arizona in 2005.
I have lived here ever since.
 
noway Laura you went to Ball University :) Matt's mom & dad's family lives near Muncie and have their whole life :)

ok well after 20 years in the military I will do them in order :D
born and raised in a small town called Crewe, VA
Richmond VA (went to college for a year at VCU)
Orlando FL (boot camp)
San Diego CA (4 years...this is where I met DH and we got married)
Bethesda MD (1 year for lab tech school)
Portsmouth VA (4 years)
Sigonella Sicily (3 years) and traveled all over, loved it
Oak Harbor WA (7 years and in between I did 9 months in Kuwait)....
Mount Vernon, WA (2010 bought out house and we retired here)


so I call Crewe my "hometown" but my kids call Mount Vernon their hometown.....
