I finally purged

I held my breath, plugged in my EHD ... and started deleting. I am down almost 50 gigs. Good gravy that was a lot. To be fair most were not SSD and a lot of the kits were from 2008 LOL. Some designers are not even around anymore. Plus I went thru my collab/site kits folder and deleted most of them too.

I did however find a set by Katie Hadfield that I almost re-purchased. I knew it looked familiar when I pinned it last month.
 
WAHOOOOO!!!! That is some good cleaning up right there! I did a purge a few months ago but I probably need to do it again. :)
 
That's awesome!!! I can't do it, but I need to. My EHD is full and I know there are things on there that I will never use again.
 
I have been doing that too. I do have a copy on an EHD but it's not on my laptop anymore at least. And I totally get about buying and probably not using... Sometimes I wonder what I was thinking. LOL
 
I desperately need to do this!! You gave me the idea to start by sorting by date! Designs have improved SO much from when I first started!
 
I hate purging!! I do purge some old CT kits occasionally, but I hardly ever will throw away anything I paid for. It's just too painful, even though I hardly ever use a kit more than once or twice.
 
well I have been digi-scrapping for 7 years (with breaks) and was on multiple CT's for at least half that time. My first purge was in 2007 when I upgraded computers. All my "old" stuff then went onto discs - well I have never touched those disc's.

I figured why wasn't the disc space this time. Before I deleted I moved any wordart/unique elements to a folder to use later.
