Hybrid idea help

I've decided I want to make my grandparents a dry erase reminder/helper board.

I'd like to revamp this one and make it similar...and possibly double sided? Or just make 2 separate ones. What would you put on it?
I was thinking the days or mini calender for appts and other reminders, a to-do spot?, shopping list? maybe medicine reminder?

What do you think? What would you put on something like this?

Maybe a spot with important/frequently-called phone numbers?

What about making part of it permanent and part of it dry erase. So the important numbers would be permanent/printed with your artwork. Then also have spaces for them to write in numbers.

Do you think one of those acrylic/plastic frames like the ones used for the post it note holders would work for a dry erase board? That it won't get funky from drawing on it and erasing it constantly?

Yes those plastic things work well. for them. I have a couple
