Howdy from Texas

I'm sure you have all heard that before. Truth is, I never say howdy, don't own a pair of boots (although most of my children and my husband do), and we don't have a horse (anymore ), though a cow, 2 goats, a rabbit, and dog grace our property.

My name is Christine. I've been married to my sweetheart for 16 years. We have 6 children (ages almost 17 to almost 2) and I am carrying twin girls (18 weeks!).

We live in Texas and our primary events revolve around our family, homeschooling, and our church family and activities.

I've been digi-scrapping since 2008. I was very active in 2008 and 2009, then had a hard drive crash and lost all of my acdsee tags and kinda went kaput after that. I have dabbled in digi a little since then mostly for church posters and such. I'm finding that I need to rebuild my entire stash which is going to take me a while.

I have one question - how do I get the photo information for my gallery uploads? I'm trying to get started in the challenges.

I was "inHisgrip" on SM when I was really into digital. Looking forward to finding a spot here. :)

Hi, Christine! Welcome to SSD! Wow, it sounds like you have your hands full - six children and expecting twins

My only experience with Texas was driving through while moving from the East coast to Arizona and back. Texas is big.

What do you mean by getting photo information for your gallery uploads? Are you trying to put your layouts into the challenge thread?

Looking forward to getting to know you better :)

Welcome to SSD! When you mention the photo information for your gallery uploads, are you asking how to save for the SSD gallery? If so, the max size here is 700 px x 700 px and 250 kb. I think there's a tutorial in the tutorial section with detailed steps.

Just wanted to say welcome from one Texas girl to another. This is a great place to be. Beautiful products and very friendly people. I'm not sure I understand your question about gallery uploads or I'd try to help, but I'm sure someone will know. It's been a long day here-had the family Thanksgiving today ;0)

Hey everyone! Sorry I wasn't clear about my question on the gallery. I am trying to copy my layout images into the challenge thread. I uploaded my photo, but cannot find anywhere to copy a linked image or anything like that. I can't even comment on anyone's layouts. Maybe it's because I'm new.

Oh - and I should explain my user name - littlebitofe was supposed to be littlebitofeverythingmama. That basically sums up my life - I'm always into a little bit of everything. Bread baking, canning, essential oils, photography, you name it. Ha.

Yep, you need 10 posts in the forum before you'll be able to comment in the gallery. You're almost halfway there :)

As far as putting layouts into the forum threads, you need to get the image URL. Depending upon the browser you're using, you find it differently. Then you click on the little picture icon that you see when you're posting in the forum and paste the image URL there. Then highlight the whole URL with html tags and click the little world icon with the chain link on it and paste the URL of the page (from your browser) into that window.

I don't think that made a whole lot of sense. I think there's a tutorial around somewhere that probably explains it better. Let me look...

Welcome! I updated your user status so you should be able to comment now :)

To get the link to your image to put it in the challenge forum just right click-copy image location then on your challenge thread post click the yellow icon with the mountain on it and paste that image link in there. You can then get the url from your gallery and click the earth icon on your post and paste that in and it'll link up your layout!

pretty sure I made that really confusing lol Sorry hopefully somebody else can explain it better

Welcome to SSD Christine! We have a great community here, so jump on in and make yourself at home. :)

welcome neighbor across the block! I am over in New Mexico and mom to 7 (2 are twin girls), and I remember you from SM!! I do I do!!

Wow, what a hearty welcome. Thank you all.

We live east of Dallas by about an hour. If you have heard of canton trade days, we aren't far from there.

Anne, I remember you, too!!!! (Waving wildly)

Hi Christine welcome to SSD, I hope you have a great time looking around and am looking forward to seeing your layouts of your kids! I have also been married to my sweet heart for 16 years and I have 5 kids ages from almost 17 (on Dec 8th) to 6 years.
