So if anyone wants to know... or was having as many issues as I...
First I turned off DST here- that was robin's suggestion
Then I cleared out all my temp files cookies etc (but that's done regularily lol.. it was just a test)
Then I did a dns flush again (I did one after the server move too)
THEN I changed/edited the hosts file on my computer...
and now ... finally.. I can log into the gallery- and stay logged in so that I Can upload/comment. It's bumped me out a few times now but at least I can get BACK in

dns flush is super easy..
go to your c prompt.. type in ipconfig /flushdns.. hit enter.. and poof, all done
