Holy Cow! Survivor 4/17 **Spoilers**

That was crazy!! I thought for sure Malcolm would hold on to that second idol. But, I guess it was smart for him to preserve his alliance. Next week should be interesting. I'm assuming the idols will be back in play . . . wonder if Malcolm will find one again. :)

And, did you see that Eric voted for Phillip as well? I'm soooo glad that guy is gone!

Also, I love Cochran. The preview for next week made me chuckle.

I loved Tribal but honestly I felt a little bad for Phillip...He's just comical to watch and I feel bad how he went out. I did love seeing them scramble and was really rooting for the three to be saying Phillip yet vote Andrea or somebody else out.

Was one of the best tribal moves ever though.....I loved it

oh and I was cracking up at Cochran next week..looks like Jeff lost it too lol

oh and I totally think Cochran is on to Dawn..but I'm thinking he might keep her close

I thought Phillip's interview after he was voted out was the most sane he seemed all season. Kind of makes me wonder just how much of his craziness was for show. I did feel a little bad for him but that was a bold move by Malcom - totally didn't see that one coming! Smart on his part though since A)Phillip is largely why he left that alliance in the first place and B)If he'd lost Eddie he would have been a goner. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out next week!

I have to say, I am WAY over Dawn at this point. I liked her in her first season but I'm just not feeling her this time around.

When he gave that other idol to Eddie I was totally shocked...I thought for sure he would hold it for next week. LOVED the looks on the others faces. I felt sorry for Phillip too...he's an annoying person and I'm sure in that environment it's annoying times a million..but he seems like the kind of annoying that you just have to humor and then go on with your life. I was hoping they'd get rid of Andrea.

Dawn is SUPER DUPER annoying.

Now is the time for the tag alongs like Sherri and Eric to make a move and switch and looks like that may be what they do next week. They'll be stupid if they don't b/c obviously they are the bottom of that 7 person alliance.

I think Brenda is the one to watch...she's played a much quieter game this time around and if she makes it to the end she will probably get some jury votes.

I'm really over Dawn a bit too but...they have to start looking at who to bring to final 3 and who they can win against...I mean if it was me I'd make sure the most annoying person that ev1 didn't get along with was beside me for the final vote

If Cochran has figured Dawn out he can use that against her at final Tribal and secure the win if he makes it that far..I'd keep her around

I'd get rid of Andrea and Brenda for sure..either could probably win the game.

Thank goodness for Eric. He reminded all those bozos that just because Malcolm and Eddie were wearing immunity necklaces didn't mean they were going to play them. They still had to force them with votes. Der.

I think Malcolm made a mistake. He gives up an idol that no one knows he has? He was not thinking of the win there. Yes, it solidifies that alliance, of...three. I don't know that enough from the big alliance will switch to make a difference. They threw that in the promos as a red herring. Just like the promos last week showing Dawn saying she was going to quit, and it was all over her teeth.

I'm rooting for Cochran and they are making him look like a winner. Brenda has no chance with as little air time as she has been given. And I don't remember her being so nice last time. But good for her for being the only one to help Dawn. I was surprised no one else at least went to find out what was wrong.

I knew as soon as Phillip said earlier in the show that he thinks he can make it to the final 3 and even win, that he was going home. He's definitely an odd duck and after 2 seasons, we still really don't know how much is fake and how much is real about him.

I still like Dawn - I guess I identify with her some. She's old like me and has a bunch of kids like me and is thinking how much college is going to cost. That all hits home.

I like Dawn as a person, I'm just not loving her this season. The first time she played she started out weak and then became a strong player as the game wore on. I loved that about her. But this season it's like she's playing backwards. She started out strong and is now completely losing. I know the conditions out there are tough but she's crying so often I just want to shake her and be like "Get a grip woman, you're better than this!" :D

What's crazy is Phillip claimed in an interview that they've only shown a small amount of Dawn's breakdowns on the season so far. Given the source, who knows, haha, but If that's true, that kind of boggles my mind since it seems like all she's done lately is cry.

Yes, enough with the crying. Ok, you lost your teeth...fine cry.
But it rains, she cries..
She can't sleep, she cries..
She sleeps, she cries..
Geez!!!

I can't imagine what this game does to your emotional health out there, but she is a mess.

I am so loving Malcolm right now!!!! He has always been a fav of mine, but that move was genius!

Yeah - and Dawn's crying doesn't bother me that much. If I was out there playing with her, I'd be more worried and thinking that she needed to leave just for her own well-being. And, I'd probably be irritated with her, but I could handle that a lot better than Phillip. He is inconsiderate and condescending. I wouldn't be able to handle him at all.

I'm with you Tracy . . . still loving Malcolm . . . but, I'm having a hard time seeing how he's gonna pull it out unless they put the idols back in play and he finds one again.

It doesn't boggle my mind. LOL She's probably in menopause! :p

Do any of you watch the Ponderosa videos?
Here's Michael's second one - pretty funny at the end! Allthough I could totally do without the up-close-and-personal shaving.

And then here comes Phillip. The stuff he said at the end is pretty good, but maybe a bit much relative to this game.

Hahaha, exactly! I thought it was rather telling that when Dawn started yelling for help, no one moved. Only Brenda eventually got up to help her. Seemed weird but if she always in breakdown mode, I can see why.

just watched!! WOW that was awesome! I couldnt wait for Phillip to be gone. I was really surprised after all the scrambling that Eric was the only one who changed his vote, and he was the one who had to convince everyone else to still vote for them so that they played their necklaces. I hope Erik and someone else flip, even if its Sheri. Not a fan of hers but if they can help the others then they can use her.

I dont know how they are going to make it through the next vote but I think there might be more scrambling now that Phillip is gone. I am cheering for Malcolm and Cochran...though I dont think there is any way they will both make the final 3.

Given his talent for making up stories, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a decent book. :D

I love how he claims he knew he was going home, yeah right. He's certainly obsessed with being a physical threat, no? Given his age he held his own I suppose, but I'd probably list 2/3rds of the people as physical threats before him. Even Cochran won a challenge. :D

best part of the people interview:
I can walk into a situation while other people are singing songs or talking about TV shows that they'll never put on the air. But I can come out there, make you laugh at home and publish a book! I have thousands of fans writing to me saying, "Give me a name in Stealth R Us." My brother is a police chief in Rochester N.Y., and I have a twin sister who is a Ph.D. I come from a very successful family. Tell me, do you think that makes me crazy?

Uh...what?!? My jaw drops to the floor, he's so crazy! LOL And he totally doesnt see it. At. ALL!

ok seriously. Read the description of his book.

After barely surviving thirty-nine days of hell in Costa Rica-the site of his first-ever botched assignment-the Specialist is just coming off a six-month hiatus when the beautiful Mimi Sabo contacts him. Desperate to find her kidnapped father and with just days to come up with millions in ransom, Mimi needs the Specialist's expertise, and quick. But there is only one problem: she is from Costa Rica-the last place the Specialist ever wants to be again.

The Specialist is prepared to decline the job until Mimi slaps a fat check on his desk. When he begins his investigation, he enlists the help of his friend and former Israeli secret service member and soon discovers that things are not as they appear. Swept up in a life-or-death mission, the Specialist heads to Costa Rica, where he must walk a path of corruption and betrayal, pitted against drug cartels, dirty cops, turncoat agents, and a terrorist bomber. But even the Specialist could never have predicted what happens next.

In this gripping thriller, one man must return to the place that has given him so much trouble and face his demons in order to solve a case for a beautiful client.

oh my word?!? I can only imagine how HORRIBLE this book would be!! I dont think you could pay me to read it! Not even if you slap a fat check on my desk. LOL

Oh my goodness . . . that interview is hilarious. That guy is seriously deluded about himself. I'm sure he's a nice enough fellow, but I just can't handle people who aren't centered in reality . . . at least a little.
