Goodbye curls, hello 10 year old.

Or well, almost 10 year old (next month). He'd been growing it out for over a year and a half and we finally cut it today. His plan had been to wait until the night before the last day of school, but he had a gnarly little mat going in the back that kept sticking straight out so this morning before church (after spending 10 minutes making it look manageable) he and I decided to go ahead and do it today.

I think so. He loved all of the attention he got at church last night when people were seeing it for the first time. I guess the real test will be if he's still happy with it after school today. lol After we cut it he kept moving his head around and talking about how much lighter it felt and how funny his ears felt now. It was a TON of hair since it was way longer than it actually looked. Wet (not even straightened) it came down about 2 more inches. lol
