Fall Bucket List Items

I'm curious; my hubby and I are empty nesters (our kids have their own families). I was wondering what things you would put on your fall bucket list to do if it is just the two of you?

Husband and I were married for a few years before we had kids and while I’ve always been more of a homebody we did do a few fun things as a couple. It almost always revolved around food or music or movies.

Do you guys have any local fall festivals? Or food truck events? Breweries or wineries that have seasonal fare? Even before kids we carved pumpkins every year :D

Autumn stargazing. The sun setting earlier means it's easier to see the Milky Way around dinnertime.

My husband and & would love to go to Oktoberfest, we've got two years until our kids graduate high school and can start traveling in the fall/winter!

I didn't go today because of DSD & a hockey game, but my inlaws go to a oktoberfest out by the lake house so I imagine when the kids are gone, we'll go to that with them for sure. My hubby doesn't tend to care too much about the holiday stuff, but I do love to go to the pumpkin patches and pick fresh fruit. The kids & I go for now, but I imagine I'll drag him with me later! lol

My kid is still young, but we like to do small trips in nearby towns like coffee shops that we have not visited yet and order new taste of coffees (or starbucks), flower shop, farmers market. I also have some books that I want to read this fall (and hopefully finish. I also have on my list to visit the mountains.
