Editing Programs?

Hi all -

My 9.5-year-old is wanting to learn about photo editing, making her own graphics and so forth. I use Photoshop CS 6 but I feel like that is a bit too advanced for her and want to start her off with something a bit less involved. I know years ago a lot of scrappers used other programs than Photoshop. Any recommendations on software? Websites for tutorials? etc?

I don't know about other programs but my daughter started using PSE when she was about 8 or 9 and caught on pretty quickly I taught her some basics and then she just played around with it all the time to see what it could do.

I think PS Elements is a good start too. Lots of basic stuff and she shouldn't get too lost and frustrated. You could do the trial and see how it goes.
