Thanks to instagram I have found so many great artists! In terms of favourites that are doing things right now I have a strong love for katie daisy of course but also this girl named Rachel Pohl - she is based in Montana and makes such awesome mountain and landscape photos!

I don't follow many because I don't find many who speak to me all the time. I may like one piece really well but find their others are a different style that doesn't really suit me, so I move on...

One of my favorite artists is Mark Keathley.

I wrote him several years ago to ask if I could use one of his images on the home page of my genealogy site and he responded quickly and very positively and we ended up communicating a bit. He seems to be as nice as he is talented.

I also love Charles Peterson, "the ghost painter," and have a ton of his work in my house. His memories collection is a family favorite. My parents started collecting it years back and my sister and I followed suit. Between us, we have most of them. LOL

Finally, as a quilter and cross stitcher, I love Paula Vaughan. I only have one actual art piece, but have done many of her cross stitch and quilt patterns.

And when it comes to photography, my fave is Jean Guichard.
He photographs lighthouses, mostly during storms. He's photos are so amazing.
I used to have one printed and framed in my room when I was a teenager.
